Chapter seventy nine : Awake
I didn't know what had happened to me in the past few days, all I know is this moment, my eyes are open and all I can see is an empty room. I got flashes of memories and how I had been poked by a sharp ice and the horrors of my unending pain, I must have dashed out or had been unconscious all these while.

The last thing I could remember from my deep sleep was Ashley. I had seen her calling out for help and pleading that I awake from my sleep but why did it feel like I was never asleep until now? What had happened to me? Thomas thought to himself.

He pressed his hands against the bed, pushing his weight upwards as he moved his feet down to the floor. The ground was so cold. It was very strange, almost like he was feeling the touch of his feet against the floor for the first time in years.

He looked around the room from one lamp stand to another and finally his eyes made contact with the wall clock.

Twelve p.m. He muttered. At this time everyone must be asleep. Somehow, Thomas recognise
