Chapter seventy one : He is the last runner
Thomas furrowed his eyebrows as he turned around to see what she was staring at and unfortunately it was the man he had given several punches. He was up but covered in blood.

“What the heck,” He whispered and the man stabbed him with a pointed wood.

Thomas awoke with a sharp cry, the sting in his stomach got worse and he screamed aloud. His wail was so disturbing that It alarmed Kelvin and the rest of his friends since their rooms weren’t far from his.

They all rushed down to meet him rolling on the bed with his hands pressed tightly on his stomach.

"What is wrong Thomas? Thomas!" Kelvin said but Thomas wouldn't stop wailing.

"My stomach, it hurts," Thomas cried out again.

Vicki and Anna cling together, staring at Thomas in fear while the others also watch.

"Come and give me a hand David," Kelvin called. Together they carried Thomas to Ruth in case there was something she could do to stop the pain.

She managed to give him some herbs to make him fall asleep and afterwards she walked out
