Chapter twelve : The cry for help
"Is this the door…? because it looks kind of small," Ana said, hovering her eyes around the entrance.

"No It's not. we are currently on the tenth floor," Kelvin said and they glanced at him astonished. "The temple is made up of twenty five floors but we will be heading to the first floor," Kelvin answered as they got to the end of the passageway and he gently opened the large door.

They followed the staircase heading downwards to the ninth floor and when they arrived there he stopped them. There was a door directly opposite them and to continue their journey they must make it past the door to the other side.

"What is the problem?" Thomas asked because from what he could see there was nothing threatening around except from eight ancient serpent statutes on either side of the wall.

Kelvin picked up a little rock close by as threw it forward and immediately out of the mouth of the statues issued fire.

"This is not good," Ana quivered frightfully.
