Ferdinand was taken aback by Aunt Rose's sudden actions. "Aunt Rose, please stand up," he urged, feeling uncomfortable with her kneeling before him.

But Aunt Rose remained steadfast. With tears in her eyes, she begged Ferdinand to consider releasing Serah, to give her another chance at redemption.

Ferdinand sighed softly, a mix of memories and emotions flooding his mind. "Serah was my childhood friend, and she was once my girlfriend," he admitted quietly. "I can't hold onto my anger forever. If she promises to change her ways, I will consider releasing her."

A glimmer of hope shone in Aunt Rose's eyes as she nodded fervently. "I have spoken to her, Ferdinand. She is willing to change, to make amends for her mistakes."

Ferdinand nodded solemnly, a sense of resolution in his voice. "Very well then. I will pay her a visit and see for myself."
