Acheri 2.

Acheri 2:

As they entered the classroom, Sarah immediately inquired, "Who is that person?" James replied, "That's the man I was talking about." Curiosity piqued, you ask, "What was he saying?" James recalled, "Something like 'Ach' or whatever it was." Peter interjected, acknowledging, "Just as he said, we've done something we shouldn't have, and now we must face the consequences." Sarah scoffed, reminding them, "We're still just teenagers, remember?"

Peter and James exchanged shocked glances as Scott let out a heavy exhalation, suggesting, "Maybe we should tell the police." Sensing the futility of such a course of action, James murmured, "You know that's not a possibility." Frustration boiling over, Peter shouted, "Then what other option do we have? Should we follow that cryptic man's instructions?" Sarah intervened, managing to calm Peter down.

Meanwhile, at a local bar, Derek and his friend Owen had managed to deceive the staff about their age, granting them entry. Seated in a circle with a table between them, they indulged in spirited conversation. Owen playfully taunted Derek about Sandra, to which Derek responded by downing his drink without a word and pouring himself another. Mike chimed in, teasingly remarking, "I see she's left you for that insignificant soul." This remark ignited Derek's anger, prompting him to stand up with a flushed face and a furious expression. He vowed, "That bastard, I'll make sure to crush him tonight," storming away from his friends.

Under the cover of the night, around eight o'clock, the only sounds audible were the rustling of scurrying rodents and the distant howling of a wolf. The moon emitted a feeble, waning light, forcing them to rely on their flashlights as they cautiously made their way. They had made the decision to meet with the hooded figure, hoping to confront and address the consequences of their actions, even if it meant waiting for an entire year.

Nervously, Sarah pressed herself close to Scott and whispered, "Do we really have to do this?" The group remained silent, continuing their journey. Peter pondered aloud, "How do we find our way to the cave? Last time, we just appeared there." Everyone paused, contemplating the question, until Scott responded with conviction, "He will find us." Sarah murmured, "I hope so," and they pressed forward.

Derek emerged from Peter's narrow path, searching for his friend. Frustration and worry etched on his face, he turned to his friends and exclaimed, "F**k, where the hell is that bastard? I can't find him anywhere." Owen inquired, "Isn't he at home?" Derek shook his head in response. Suddenly, a bloodcurdling scream pierced the night air, causing them all to freeze in silence. Mike whispered, "Let's wait for him." Derek's curiosity peaked, and he questioned, "What was that?" The prolonged and intense scream continued, and they strained their ears to determine its source.

Owen wondered aloud, "Who could be screaming so loudly at this hour?" Just then, the sound of footsteps approaching caught their attention. Derek turned the corner, and as the figure of a girl came into view, he quickly illuminated her with the light from his phone. To their astonishment, they recognized her as Kara, who appeared terrified and distressed. She pleaded for their help between heavy breaths, and another figure materialized behind her.

As Peter, Sandra, James, and Scott found themselves inexplicably transported to the cave, the hooded figure with the shimmering gem manifested before them. Bewildered by their sudden arrival, they exchanged glances, hoping to understand the purpose of their presence. Peter's excitement overflowed as he eagerly asked, "How can we assist? What can we do?" The figure responded, "You must stop her."

Overwhelmed by the enormity of the task, Peter cried out, "But how? How can we possibly achieve that?" Their words hung in the air, awaiting an answer.

"You must wear a vivid red ribbon or string around your neck," the figure explained, referring to the prophecies. They were instructed that this symbol would grant them the power to defeat the malevolent entity known as Acheri.

Derek stood frozen, watching as his friend was drained by the enigmatic being before him. He had witnessed the girl strangling his friends and extracting something from their stomachs, causing them to wither and burn gradually. As footsteps approached, Derek remained rooted to the spot, his fear nearly overwhelming him. The sound drew nearer, and a shadow materialized. Derek closed his eyes tightly, resembling a scared child in a dark room, but he couldn't find his voice to scream or shout. He could feel the presence right in front of him, fully expecting his fate to mirror that of his friends. He blamed himself for being outside at such a perilous time.

Slowly, he opened his eyes upon hearing a familiar voice calling his name. To his astonishment, he saw Peter standing before him. Recognizing Derek, Peter immediately called out to the others, "It's Derek!" The rest of the group approached, and James questioned Derek, "What happened? Why are you here?" Derek, though a proud young man, responded, "What are you doing here?" The puzzled expressions on their faces indicated that they were unaware of the recent terror Derek had experienced.

Derek quickly explained, "An inexplicable creature suddenly appeared out of nowhere and consumed my friends. They were drained of life, and I barely escaped." Scott urgently asked, "Where is she?" Derek was taken aback by their familiarity with the being he had encountered. Before he could respond, they heard a piercing scream in the distance. Acting swiftly, they rushed towards the source. Scott was about to say something when he stopped abruptly, realizing the horrifying truth.

Acheri, the so-called demon, had just claimed another victim—a woman who resembled a little girl with big eyes, an elongated mouth, and a small hand. Clad in a tattered white gown and clutching a small pot, she laughed maniacally before charging at them.

Now, the fate of their mission rested with the hooded figure, who materialized as planned. He brandished his staff, adorned with a gleaming gem, and directed their attention. James shouted, "Now!" as Scott retrieved a talisman, and Peter swiftly produced a red string. The demon attempted to fight back, but the earlier encounter had weakened her. Desperately, she tried to evade their attacks, momentarily vanishing and reappearing behind Peter. With her sharp claws, she lacerated his back, causing him to cry out in pain as blood poured forth.

Undeterred, the hooded figure aimed his staff at the demon, but she proved elusive. However, the aura emanating from the staff struck her directly in the heart, causing her to let out a shrill scream. Snarling and writhing, she began to dissolve.

Epilogue of a chapter:

As the ethereal light faded, the victims regained consciousness, and a new figure, dressed similarly to the hooded man but lacking a staff, entered the scene. He warned, "Next time, it won't be a demon. It will be a monster, a formidable monster," before swiftly disappearing. Unbeknownst to them, this mysterious figure was Lycaon.

The hooded man reassured the group that the events they had just experienced would be forgotten by all, ensuring that no memory of the ordeal would linger.
