Werewolves 2.

Werewolves 2

He entered the sacred place, where a burning hot fire raged like a stream, resembling a cave or a maze. The heat was intense enough to scorch a man miles away, but he walked through it. The chain of burning fire had been knotted, so he untied it. He sat in front of the plaque and recited the incantation. The water boiled loudly and danced, awakening him. With his help, he would take control over the world. No one could stop him this time – not a bunch of teens, not a hooded man, not even Zeus. He appeared majestically and godly, shaking the entire mountain.

"Now, let's go to war," he proclaimed, his first words after a thousand years of sleep.

Peter waited at the counter, expecting his order to arrive. He tapped the desk, humming an "intention" song. The staff arrived with the gala and coke.

"Here it is," they said, stretching it out to him. He collected it and handed over the money. He usually ate that when his mother was working the night shift. Cooking wasn't his forte, except for noodles and toast, which he had grown tired of.

Turning back, he was startled to find Sandra smiling at him. He gulped in thirst as he saw her. He had never seen her outside of school uniform. She looked super sexy in the shiny black skirt that barely covered her long legs, a short top that exposed her abdomen, and her hair tinted pink.

"Hey there," she said with a broad smile, gently approaching him. Peter took a moment before the question sank into his brain.

"Hello," he said with a hesitant voice, but nothing came out of his mouth.

"Are you that startled to see me?" Sandra teased.

"I'm just surprised to see you here. Do you live nearby?"

"Oh, no. One of our older friends is having a birthday party today at the bar, and we sneaked our way in," she replied, still smiling.

"Okay, with that shiny dress you're wearing, you truly managed to sneak in," he joked, and she scoffed.

"What about you? Why are you here?" he asked, showing her what he had brought. "I live near here."

"Okay, can I follow you down the street?"

"If that won't ruin your fun," he said, and they both chuckled as they headed down the road.

The road was quiet, and only the sound of their footsteps could be heard. Peter was too clumsy to start a conversation, while Sandra eagerly awaited one.

"I hope Derek doesn't disturb you again," she began.

"Oh... yeah. What about you? Derek won't let you go just like that."

"He can't do anything. I ended it, and he agreed," Sandra said confidently.

"What are you thinking now? Are you suggesting a new relationship? Or are you afraid of dating another bad guy?" Peter said, trying to make conversation. Sandra simply smiled.

"Or is there someone you're planning to meet at the birthday event?" he asked further.

She chuckled again. "No, I didn't, but I did see someone as I left the party."

Silence hung between them as Peter processed what he had just heard. Suddenly, they heard it – the scream of a woman. Then a growl, right in front of them. A creature flew out of a nearby window, shattering the glass as it made its way into the forest – a wolf. How was it possible for a wolf to enter a securely locked and silent house without causing any damage? Without a moment's hesitation, Peter followed its tracks, leaving Sandra behind, or more accurately, forgetting about her. Sandra wanted to his name, but he was consumed by what he was chasing. The wolf came to a sudden stop, deep in the dark and eerie forest. The air was filled with creepy sounds, but the wolf seemed unaffected. It growled and howled, surveying its surroundings to ensure no one was pursuing it. Then, in a dramatic transformation, it began to shift. Bones cracked as it grew larger and leaner. Its four legs turned into two, elongating into human legs. Its ears shrank, and its head transformed into a smaller, more human-like shape. And just like that, it stood before them as a human.

Peter, hidden behind a tree, was unaware of Sandra's presence behind him. Both of them witnessed the wolf's transformation into a human. Peter's jaw dropped in astonishment, and he muttered to himself, "Werewolves." Sandra wanted to scream and shout. She had witnessed something she had never seen before. Was she dreaming? No, it was real. The wolf they had seen just minutes ago now stood before them, naked.

"What the heck?" she uttered in disbelief. Finally, Peter noticed her presence, and shock washed over him as he gazed at her. Their legs moved involuntarily, making unnecessary noise.

As they tried to comprehend what they had witnessed, they heard a voice. They hadn't misheard it; there were indeed others nearby. Peter's eyes turned blue, and his jaw grew broader. His entire physique transformed, revealing his fangs and sharp claws. He felt compelled to eliminate them as well.

"I think he heard us," Sandra whispered, and Peter turned back to face the approaching creature. Peter was paralyzed, unsure of what to do. His heartbeat pounded in his ears, and in that moment, he found himself transported somewhere else – the cave.

"Peter," James called out from behind. Peter turned and was astonished to see his friends, including his foe Derek. The hooded figure stood in front, waiting for them to calm down and take orders.

"So, you two are together," Derek scoffed, receiving no response from Peter or Sandra.

"I know you've been doing this, even before we broke up," he added, his anger growing as they remained silent.

"Where are you coming from? The bar? Pub? Hotel?" he sneered, still receiving no reply.

"It's not the time to argue or fight. Save your strength for the upcoming battle," the monster said slowly and seriously...
