Chapter 6: Getting to know the truth.

“A billionaire Son.” The man said as he Tightly hugged peter, Giving him a bone crushing hug. Peter was very shocked because he couldn't understand why an obvious rich man was hugging a nobody like him and even calling him a billionaire Son.

Peter immediately broke the embrace of the stranger he didn't know. Peter's brows were knitted together as he tightened his lips, pressing his lips on a thin line.

“Please, who are you and how can I help you, sir?” He asked respectfully, looking at the aged man in front of him.

Collin smiled widely and there was a sparkle in his eyes as he looked at Peter. Although he felt sorry for Peter, he was glad that he found him. “I am Collin, How are you doing, Peter?” He asked, and Peter narrowed his eyes a little, as he was confused. Collin was being friendly with him, and he couldn't help but a raise a brow to that. Curiousity was what he knows at that moment.

'How did he know my name?' He mused inwardly as he was curious.

“I am doing good.” He replied in a weird manner.

Collin smiled as he wiped little tears that were in his eyes. “You don't know how glad I am to finally get to meet you, my Dear.” He uttered and happiness was visible in his voice. He was more than glad to finally meet peter, After many years.

Peter looked around a little, “Please, do you know me? Like, have we met each other before?” he questioned with his questioning look. It was more than obvious that he was trying to process everything that was happening because it is not every day you get to see a rich man hugging you.

Collin smiled lovely staring at Peter “Yes I know you well Peter, but it is obvious that you don't know me but don't worry, soon you will get to know me better.”

Peter looked at him suspiciously as he narrowed his eyes. “I think you have mistaken me for some else.” Peter muttered, as that was all he could think about at that time.

Collin laughed lightly, “Oh my boy, Trust me when I say I know you for real. You are a great person if you don't know that. Please, can you at least follow me, so we can have some talk? I have numerous things to explain to you, my child.” Collin told him.

Peter narrowed his eyes, confused. 'What can a man like him want with someone like me?' he mused inwardly.

Something told Him that he should follow the man, but then he wanted to avoid doing something that he might regret. “I am sorry, sir, but I can't follow you. I don't even know you, and what can a person like you want to do with a low life individual like me?” He questioned.

Collin shook his head And said, “You are a great person if you don't know that, but I will explain everything to you. All I need is just for you to follow me, so you can freshen up, get yourself together. I know you don't have any idea of who I am, but trust me when I say that you are safe with me, my dear”.

Peter closed his eyes and opened it again. He sighed a little, and he decided to follow the man. He was still confused about everything, and the curious part of him was telling him to follow Collin. What Collin said to him about being great was something he didn't understand because what everyone does was just to look down on him and treat him like a Total trash. Peter's heart was already filled with Hatred, and he finds it hard to trust anyone again. “I am perplexed here, can't you tell me whatever it is that you want to tell me here? And what do you mean by I am a great person? I am a nobody, sir, and I still think you got the wrong person.”

Collin shook his head, “Please, I am begging you Peter, just follow me and I will clear your doubt about everything.”

After thinking for Some time, Peter decided to give the man a chance. “Alright, I will follow you.” He said with a complicated Expression.

Collin was more than happy that peter agreed to follow him. He clapped his hands a little with a sparkle in his eyes. “Alright, Alright. That's good, my dear! Let's go!” He said, and walked back to his car. Peter hesitated to follow him for a while, but then Collin gave him a sign with his hands for him to come with him. Peter nodded lightly before he walked towards the car. The driver opened the car door for Collin to enter, and he also did the same for Peter. Inside the car was so outstanding and Peter just wowed at it. He wondered how rich the man must be.

'God, please guide and keep me save.' He said a little prayer inwardly, as he didn't trust Collin at all. The driver started driving, and it was as if silence rained on them. There was a very uncomfortable silence in the car as no one said anything. Peter was just lost in his deep thoughts.

After some few minutes of driving, they finally arrived at their destination. The driver parked the car in a garage And immediately opened the back door for Collin and Peter to get down. Collin got down first before peter. Immediately Peter came down, he wowed at the view. He couldn't help but look around with wide eyes. As a man he is, things didn't easily amuse him, but what he was seeing was surprising. They were in a luxurious mansion.

The design and decoration of the Mansion was remarkable. Breathtaking sculptures were all around. The big stunning pool that was pumping out water and many more was spectacular.

Collin smiled widely at the expression on Peter's face. “Follow me peter.” He said, and Peter nodded as he composed his self and concealed the amazed look on his Face. Just when Peter thought that he has seen it all, the inside of the mansion blew his mind. Yes, he has seen numerous amazing buildings, but what he was really seeing was surprising him a lot. The mansion smelled all money. He saw a man and a woman dressed in a work uniform, and they Both greeted them with a wide smile. After some minutes walk, they arrived In front of a door. Collin opened the door. “Peter come in.” He said as he entered inside the room, but Peter hesitated.

Collin chuckled, “I don't bite Peter. Please come In, my dear.” He chuckled at Peter's action.

Peter just gave him a forced little smile before he entered inside the room. Collin immediately closed the door after he entered. “Welcome my Dear. Please make yourself at home.”

“Thanks. Now can you please tell me how you know me and why I am here?” He asked, going straight to the point, as he hates beating around the bush.

'Just like his father.' Collin mused, but didn't say it out loud. “No need to be in a rush, my dear. Just relax, and I will explain all you need to know to you, but first I will need you to shower and freshen up. Everything you need is in this room and once you are done, just come out of this room and one of the servants will show you where I am.” Collin told him.

Peter furrowed his brows. He didn't understand why Collin was treating a nobody like him like a Boss. He didn't even receive this type of treatment from his friends or wife, And that made him more curious. “But I am okay. Can't you just tell me what you want to tell me now?” He asked with a raised brow.

“ No, No, No, No, No. Just do as I said, Peter and then get some rest, after that, I will let you know everything.” Collin uttered.

Peter, who didn't feel like, talking much, just nodded, “Alright.” He simply said.

“Good! Now, please make yourself feel comfortable and at home.” Collin made it known to him, and Peter smiled a bit. He likes the treatment he was getting, but then he wanted to get to the root of everything because he felt like There was more to everything.

Collin went out of the room and Peter closed the door. He took a superb look at the room, and he wowed. The king-size bed was wonderful. The design of the room, with the walk in closet that had a lot of clothes, shoes and many more. The well furnished leather furniture, Even the jacuzzi, was remarkable.

After checking out the room, he laid on the bed and the softness of the bed made him feel relaxed and chilled. For days, he has been sleeping on the cold ground of the street, so it felt so good to lay down on something soft. Peter got up and immediately headed to the Bathroom. The bathroom was astonishing. He showered, brushed, and even shaved. He entered inside the walk in closet and picked a cloth to wear. Not only that, but he looked good and fresh compare to his former appearance. Peter was a handsome man indeed.

Immediately he left the room as he wanted to know what was going on. Just like Collin said, immediately he left the room he saw a woman.

She smiled at him, “Please follow me, sir.” She said and bowed lightly in a respectful manner.

“Oh okay. Lead the way.” Peter said with a straight face that gave off zero expression. His voice was thick and deep. The woman nodded and he followed her. He saw Collin, who was sitting in the parlor. The parlor was really spectacular and luxurious. Immediately Collin saw him, he smiled wholeheartedly. Peter sat down on One of the furniture. Soon two maids came In with a lot of food And they set it on a table inside the parlor.

“You need to eat, Peter, then after that we will discuss.” Collin said.

Peter frowned immediately as he didn't like it at all. He was not interested in eating, and he just wanted Collin to tell him why he was there in the first place. “I am not hungry, can you please just go straight to the point and tell me why I am here in the first place, sir?” He asked as he was irked just a little.

Collin smiled a little as a thought popped up in his head. “I promise that I will tell you all you need to know, just eat up First. Please my dear.” He said In a pleading manner, and Peter gave in to his plead after some time.

Peter ate happily, as he couldn't remember the last time he had a meal that tastes so exquisite. The food was mouth watering and the aroma was wonderful.

After some minutes, he was sitting in the parlor with Collin, waiting for him to say what he wanted to say.

Collin took a sip of the glass of wine he was holding. “I know you might be wondering why you are here?” He said, but Peter didn't reply, he just nodded in a 'Yes' with a little smile.

“Good! Well first you need to know that you are a son of a BILLIONAIRE, you are a GREAT person, peter.” Collin said waiting for Peter's reaction.

Peter was surprised with what he just said. His eyes were wide open. He didn't really believe it at first.

He thought that he heard the wrong thing. 'I must be dreaming.' he said to his self inwardly. “Sorry I didn't hear you clearly, I am an orphan and according to what I was told, my parents might be dead.”

Collin laughed at what he said, and Peter looked at him weirdly. “You are a son of a billionaire and your parents are not dead! Your father is Alive, and he is one of the richest men in the world!”

Peter choked on his own spit. He couldn't even find his voice. “Are you messing with me? Am I dreaming? I think you have the wrong person, Is this true?…” He threw a lot of questions.

“Then who is my father?” He asked as he gulped down a bottle of water because he felt hot on the inside.

“Charles Williams.” Immediately Collin said that, Peter choked on the water he was drinking.
