Alvin smirked, enjoying the look of fear on the man's face. After a few seconds, he released his grasp, letting the man hit the floor with a thud.

“Now speak, did my sister steal your phone?” Alvin asked, looking down at the man sprawled on the floor, gasping for air.

“Look at this. They're from a family of criminals. The sister is a vixen and a thief, while the brother is a murderer.” The man shouted, drawing back in horror. The rest of his companions all had broken limbs unable to help him. His gang was useless at this point. Having them was the same thing as not having. He was on his own.

Alvin smirked at him, and stepped on his feet.

“Wrong answer. Did she steal or not?” He suddenly asked, abruptly applying pressure on his leg, which made the man scream in pain at the sensation of his leg being squashed.

“She stole from me. I have not asked for compensation yet, but you're already attacking me, you mad man.” He shouted, as huge beads of sweat rolled down his body. His un

“Probably. She was too beautiful, attracting lustful gazes to herself.” The system replied playfully. Alvin sighed and stood up. He walked closer to the wall dividing the building from the restaurant behind it and pointed the USB at it. A video came on, showing Leah's startled scream. “Pretty girl, why don't you come accompany big brother to have a few drinks?” James asked. “No, I'm going home.” Leah muttered timidly, shielding her head with her arms. The man tried to drag her along, making her scream out. “What are you trying to pretend to be innocent for? All women are sluts once they're behind closed doors. If you know what's good for you, you better follow me. I might even give you some money after I'm done playing with you.” The man said, using a harsh tone, while gripping her arm tightly. Leah looked at him fearfully and he grabbed her ass, squeezing it. She screamed, and his hand slid up her thighs. “What are you pretending for when you like it? Or do you think thi

Alvin's heart ached as he watched the sheer amount of groceries wasted on the floor. Even if he currently had money, he had been someone used to being broke, so waste of any kind was not acceptable to him. He sighed deeply and turned to Martha. “Do you guys have the card I gave Leah? Where is it?” He whispered, driving out of the mini mart/ one stop shop. “Yes, it's with me.” Tiffany said, bringing it out of the pouch strapped to her waist. “How much was spent?” Alvin asked, but everyone kept quiet. “What's wrong? Why is no one answering my question?” “Um, we used around eight hundred thousand dollars. Things like bags of rice, sugar, flour, potatoes, beans, soy beans, oil, soft drinks, cartons of processed food, and other bulky things have been sent home through the express delivery company. We bought them first. Sam would be outside the gate waiting to let them in. We did it this way to reduce the bulk. The price was so high because we only bought premium ingredients. And

A digital map appeared before him, leading him to the direction he was supposed to enter. He hid outside the ward to listen. “Doctor? Where are you taking him to?” An elderly woman who was looking after her grandson on the opposite bed asked, interrupting the doctors who were about to wheel the boy away in a gurney. “Oh! His condition flared up again. He needs to go into the operating room immediately.” “Ah? Poor boy. His sister has been all over the place, trying to raise money for his treatment. And it's getting worse instead of recovering. Have you guys called his sister?” The woman asked again. “The hospital has its own procedures, we do not need you to remind us.” The doctor replied impatiently and wheeled the unconscious boy away. Alvin quickly diverted to another corridor and hid, watching the doctor walk past him. The doctor entered an elevator, wheeling the boy inside. Alvin watched anxiously, knowing that the moment he entered the elevator, his cover would be blo

Alvin climbed back down and found a mask to cover his nose, in addition to a short broom and brush. He endured another torturous climb up and returned to his initial position. The space was so compacted that he needed to crawl on his belly like some rat. Rat! The moment he thought about it, he shuddered at the thought of a little rodent jumping on him. He shook his head, suppressing the disgust he felt, and used the broom to carefully sweep dirty matters aside, while also removing cobwebs to make a way for himself. Soon, he arrived at the spot indicated on the digital map as the room he was looking for. “System, is there something that I can use to see what's going on down there. Like an X-ray vision of some sort.” He said in his mind, sweating heavily. He felt like someone in an oven, there was no source of air circulation in there, making his body look like steamed dumplings. “There's an X-ray vision glass available indeed. You can have it, consider it a bonus from the

The boy became even more terrified at this point, looking at the doctors he once trusted in horror. “Little boy. You already have COPD, you're not at loss.” “No, I don't want to die. Although COPD is a chronic disease, it's curable. I promised my sister that I won't ever stop fighting. I promised to remain alive no matter how hard it gets. I'm all she has, I cannot die now. I'm her only relative. If it's because I'm owing the hospital that you want to kill me, you don't have to worry. My sister won a huge commission earlier in the day. Once the month runs out, you will get the money. Please don't do this.” The doctor slapped the boy in anger. “You talk too much. Everyone who ever entered this room never left alive. That's my rule. It won't start from you.” “It's time for lunch. Aren't you afraid my sister will be looking for me?” The boy tried again to scare them off, putting on a brave front as he gasped and wheezed. “Oh, that. • The septillionaire's superstar system   DON'T SPEND BLOOD MONEY

The doctors looked terrified and Alvin couldn't help but smile under his mask. For the first time in his life he realized that he was a sadist. That's right, the look of terror on their faces sent a rush of adrenaline down his spine whenever he looked at them. He was thoroughly enjoying their distress. In fact, their fear was a drug which he fed on. Alvin twisted his neck to the left and right, with a smirk lighting up a corner of his lips visible beneath the black mask. “You have quite the courage, torturing your patients, injecting them with poison to camouflage the real cause of their death, and harvesting their organs for your own selfish gains, not minding how the patient’s family felt. Doctors that are meant to save and preserve lives are actually murdering people. And you seem to enjoy the look of fear on the faces of your victims. How about I make you piss your pants in fear?” Alvin asked. When he spoke his modified voice was deep, powerful, and demonic, instilling fear in

Alvin sighed and shook his head. “You're lucky that I'm in a hurry, else you will be doomed.” Just as the doctors exhaled in relief, thinking it was over, the first doctor felt the sharp slash of a blade against the skin on his back. “You… you.. What are you doing?” The second one whispered in terror. “Nothing much, just a little tattoo to remind you guys of the consequences of a dirty hand.” Alvin whispered, and quickly began to carve up the skin on the man's back with the blade, making blood pour down relentlessly. The first doctor couldn't stop screaming and crying in pain, fear, and distress. As for the second doctor, he already pissed himself. Terror, sheer terror. That was all they could feel at that moment. Alvin might as well be the messenger of hell. Alvin carved the words ‘I am a despicable scumbag who steals and sells the organs of children. I am evil and do not deserve mercy’ on the man's back, letting blood flow like water. He quickly moved to the second one wh

The walkie talkie of the police officer outside, just before him beeped and he placed it on his ear. “Suspect is no longer there, he has left the operating room.” Alvin couldn't believe his ears. “Suspect? Why am I the suspect? The doctors trying to sell human parts are right in the room up there. Why is the suspect me? When I haven't done anything wrong. After a while, he wiped her tears. “Don't cry, he's in a better place. He won't like to see you like this, utterly broken like one who lost all hope. You have been a strong girl, he would love to see that fire again. Now, more than ever, you need to become more powerful, and live the dream he couldn't achieve. Alvin’s analysis was spot on, and everyone unanimously accepted it as the most plausible one. “I totally agree. And his defiance made her respect him more. She didn't bother getting a casket for the rest, but his body was properly preserved, albeit without clothes.” One of the men whispered, the one who seemed to be Wuque's right hand, doing errands for him. Someone sighed heavily. “So being a good guy made him end up in such a pathetic state.” “Doing good is important, but it should be done with lots of tact and sense, to avoid falling into the fire while trying to rescue someone. He underestimated her because she looked helpless and young. That was the reason such a powerful person was easily overpowered, she used the element of surprise. We must continue to do good. But we should always make sure that our good deeds would not boomerang on us by being cautious before jumping in to save the day.” Murong Wuque whispered. “Should we take his body back to his family? Some of the disciples gasped in amazement on seeing the interior. There was an entire section dedicated to gold, silver and precious stones. Different kinds of weapons were also displayed there alongside some unknown treasures and ancient book. “Hmmm, what's that smell?” Alvin whispered, distracting the disciples who were eagerly checking out the treasures. Murong Wuque was equally frowning, facing the same direction as Alvin. The disciples frowned and quickly ran after them. “You guys are disappointing me. Assuming you came alone, you would have gone straight for the treasures without searching for traps or people lying in wait. What if the treasures were not real but merely an illusion created by a slaughter formation to lure greedy souls in? You would have fallen into the trap all the same. I can't always follow you guys out to missions, you guys should learn how to better protect yourselves.” Murong Wuque snapped, scolding them harshly. He was what one would call a perfect

“Did you find anything?” Alvin muttered the moment Murong Wuque returned. They had finally managed to kill the enchantress after two hours of battle, a very close call. They would have ended up dead if not for Murong Wuque and Alvin who seemed to have a tacit understanding, working in tandem with each other, till Alvin found an opportunity to launch a deadly sneak attack on her. Just as she howled and turned to end him, Murong Wuque added numerous killing blows in quick successions, taking her by surprise. She had wanted to escape but they had locked down the surroundings, disabling teleportation. Although it was disadvantageous for some of them, the gain outweighed the loss of mobility. The rest of the disciples also began to add many attacks, emboldened by Alvin and Murong Wuque’s success. “There are no captives here. She probably already used them for what she intended. The only thing left is her treasury, and it would take some time to pick the lock. We might burn everything do

  • HIDDEN WEAPONS IN ACTION

Alvin wasn't sitting idly by. He grabbed a pillow that somehow found its way to where they were standing, probably during the enchantress’s play with her man-pets, and quickly slapped the monsters closest to him. The others nearly cursed at him, but their words got stuck in their throats. The casual smash with the pillow pulverized the demons it came in contact with. He swung it in an arc, clearing ten demons in a straight line. There was no time to think. The rest drew their weapons, emboldened by the fearless duo. If an unknown cultivator could endure their demonic energy and bloodlust, while delivering fatal strikes, they could do it too. But they soon realized that it was mission impossible. The demons were too powerful, making it hard to easily kill them. The strongest ones could only kill one or two at a time, and there were hundreds of demons and only fifteen of them. It made them wonder how Alvin was able to kill them with a mere pillow. The one carrying the injured culti

What just happened?” “Fellow cultivator, thank you. We truly make a great team.” Murong Wuque said, smiling at Alvin. “Ah? What does that mean? Was he the person who made the arrows stop?” The disciples refused to believe it even when the proof was right before them. After all, how could a waste be able to achieve such a feat? Surely their first brother was confused and didn't realize when he did it. “He truly stopped the arrows.” Another senior whispered, making everyone stunned. But they were in for more surprises. They entered the palace and went down the hallway till they came into a huge room. The room was designed in scarlett and a huge king sized bed was on the platform. There was a huge shelf at the end with countless human skulls, exhibited as if they were some sort of trophy. On the bed was a woman dressed in

After a battle which lasted five minutes, the last monster fell dead. However, one of the disciples was injured by a deep claw slash, making blood gush out, and it also seemed as if the claw was infected. Murong Wuque walked to him whereas another disciple was supporting him. He made a swift slash on the wound and extracted the toxin. Without a word, he brought out a bottle of pills and herbs from his pouch. He stuffed the pill into the young man's mouth, and sprinkled some herbs on the wound. He raised his cloak and tore off some pieces of clothes from his inner layer of gown and used it to bandage the wound, before adjusting the boy's clothes. Everyone was watching Murong Wuque in shock. He was someone obsessed with cleanliness and image, but he willingly ruined his precious clothes to turn it into a bandage to stop the bleeding. He handled the situation efficiently, as if he had been a doctor for ages. It seemed that when it comes to his fellow disciples’ safety, his principle

They arrived at a cave, which had a pitch-black interior. The air was chilly, the atmosphere creepy. Almost immediately someone turned on a kind of ancient torch which produced flames the moment it is opened and comes in contact with air. Murong Wuque accepted the flaming torch from one of the boys and quickly began to move inside. He suddenly stopped as a sense of foreboding arose in him. Alvin also felt it and looked around. But before they could find the source, the ground opened up and swallowed them. The batch behind barely had time to jump back, narrowly escaping the trap. However, all the disciples of the valley, alongside Alvin, were swallowed. The remaining ones were the weaker vagrant cultivators who came to offer assistance in exchange for the bounty. “This is bad, there's a trap here.” One of the men whispered in panic. “This is terrifying.
