Bidding

Alex was shocked, he couldn't have looked more surprised if his assistant had told him the sky was falling “Let's talk outside!”.

He grabbed the assistant arm, dragged him rudely out of the conference room, and yanked open the door of the room across the hall where several employees were eating lunch.

“Get out!” he said in a tone that brought no argument when the room had cleared. Alex turned to his assistant and asked, “Someone is outbidding me?”

Who would do such a thing? If I find out it's one of my associates I'm going to make fish food out of them!

“I don't know who is doing it,” the assistant said “ but it's true, no matter how much we pay the other parties offer ten thousand more”.

Alex thumped the wall “Someone is playing with us” he growled “Ten thousand bidding is nothing, they're trying to humiliate us, offer more!”

“ How much more sir?”

“I don't care how ever much it takes, there has to be a limit to what someone else is willing to pay for this company” he shoved
