" Of course yes!" She said and smiled as she looked at him which made him wonder if he had thought about that so loud. He looked at her again to see if she was really joking about everything. He still did not understand how a stranger like him, at least he was until now, would just be bestowed all these.

" My son, you will be the heir to the Kings empire. It's all yours. All that is in there is yours. Just come back home, please. Don't leave me here, they will hurt me again," she said and held his hands. She did not want him to leave her sight ever again.

But then, everything was still so glaring and shocking to him. Just yesterday, he had thought that he was poor and he would also die at the prison with no hope of coming out and now, he was scared to grasp the fact that he was a wealthy heir. Like seriously? Not even just an ordinary heir, but a powerful heir. Not even just powerful, but an influencial heir. He now had the power to command. He had the power to do and undo. He had the power to do what he wanted and no matter how much he tried to doubt if everything was true, he would recollect the DNA results. How did his life suddenly change within a twinkle of an eye? This was just too much for him to understand. He needed time to think about all these, did she not understand this?

Kings empire were not just an ordinary empire. It was the most influential and wealthiest empire in the world. They controlled. They dominated. They were the head. They were powerful. If anything happened in the business world, they preferred the Kings unlike other influencial brand coming after them. While he was still working at his former Company, he was used to hearing stuff about the company'and the likes from his co-workers. They would always want to talk about how they want to work there and everything.

As influential as they were, they had several companies under their name. They controlled several hotels, several restaurants and even had a lot of interest they collected from upcoming companies that partner with them. He knew all of these. Who would not know it anyway? But why did it seem so real? He wondered as he pinched himself to be sure that it was true. Anyone in his shoes would have done that. A commoner yesterday turned a rich man today. It was so shocking!

He also remembered back then that from the little he knew about where his friend had worked back then, he used to talk about the company because he had once worked under the empire. He shook his head when he recollect something. Was this not the same empire that he had always wanted to work but was always denied access? Was this not the same company that he had severally had his CV submitted but all to no avail despite how good it was? Now, he… was the boss? The head? He would be the one in charge? The one to control? The one to supervise? Whatever he said was final? This was just too hard for him to comprehend! He could not just take it all in a day!

" So, what are you saying now? Do you still want to leave and…" His mother stopped talking when it seemed like he still looked so shocked.

He still wanted to leave when she hurriedly went ahead to hold his hands again. This time, more tightly. She would do anything to make sure that he never leave again. She was his son. He was lost once, she would not let him get lost again.

" Son, it's time for you to take your rightful position before they take it from us. It's yours. I am not fighting it with you. You're my son and what belongs to you belongs to me also. Please, don't leave." She said and looked at him with eyes full of tender while he sighed.

" Listen to me, if you don't take actions, they will take the actions for us and we would eventually be left with nothing. What you rejected is what someone else would always be willing to take"

" But ma'am…

" Mom. I'm your mother" she said, hoping that he would say those words, even if it was just once.

My mother is lying down at the hospital. He wanted to say but he kept his mouth shut. It would only complicate things further and it may be out of control. And because this woman was influencial, she could do crazy things to the woman laying at the hospital. What he just wanted was just to confront the woman at the hospital. She was the only one that could tell her the truth. But for now, he would not say anything about it neither would he call her mother.

" I understand but then, you can start afresh again. It's never too late for that. There's always a time for a change and I will make sure that you must be changed."

" You should be willing to do this for me and your father!" She said softly while he sighed. With the way she was talking, she seemed so pitiful. He nodded while she smiled.

" Firstly, you need to study business management"

" But why? I studied that in the school and…"

" Yeah, I know about all of these. I know where the company you used to work is located. I know everything about you. I know exactly what you studied. I know everything but that is not enough, okay?"

" Is it still not part of it?"

He already had a degree in business management. What does studying it again have to do with all these? Was he not already the head? Why did he need to go back to school? He wondered and frowned.

Even though he was trying to comprehend all that were going on, he could still not understand why she was saying all these.

" Listen, you studying a course under business management is not too much. Even though you are the head, it still does not mean, right?

This time around, it will only make people see more of you, okay? People have downgraded you and even though your status has now changed, you still need it.

Those greedy people that think they are all perfect will not see less of you because sooner or later, they will know you and will surely want to find a fault or the other against you"

" what about the company? What do you intend to do about that?" He asked and furrowed his brows.

" Of course, you will keep working there. You're just going for a course, not like you want to spend the entire year. I just want my son to be topnotch!"

He nodded his head again while his mother smiled in excitement suddenly.
