At that moment, someone walked up to him and lowered his head.

" Boss, they are all lined up waiting for you. Why don't you…"

" I don't want them to know anything for now. I will just pretend that I am a nobody among them!"

" What? Big madam wants you to live up to your status and she won't like it if your only son is…"

" I will take care of that!"

He had initially wanted to let them know whom the boss was. Maybe she would just come back to him but then, he realized something. She would only come back because of the money. Realizing this fact, he was pained. Seeing that the woman he loved so much did not even feel any remorse for what she had done broke him and for the sake of the one sided love he still had for her, he did not know how to take vengeance for everything that she had done to him. Men shouldn't break down!

" Richards?" He called out while staring at the door she had passed hoping that she would just come back the same way that she had left. Why did love hurt so much like this?

He remembered back then how he had tried his best to win her heart and when he eventually did, she had betrayed him. Why and how he still loved her so deeply after what had happened is what was hurting him.

" Richards?" He called out.

" Yes boss?"

" You will lead the way while I go behind you. You will let them know that the real boss is not around and I will just be the manager." He said again while the guard looked at him in shock. How can the lost heir suddenly want to continue to retain his position as a commoner?

" Do you understand?"

" Yes boss!" He said again and lowered his head as he walked forward while he walked behind him like a pauper. The moment that he entered the office, they were surprised by the new boss. They thought that Richards was the new CEO but then, seeing that Jack was behind him made them frown. What was that man doing here? Had he forgotten that he was fired?

Had he come here again so that he could earn the favour of their new boss? They wondered.

Clara, on the other hand, did not even feel so comfortable at all seeing that he was around again. She had despised him already, what then did he come back to do? Is that how much of a failure that he was? She thought again and looked at him in scorn.

Now, she was thankful that she had finally left him for good. It was better how she did all of that for her new boyfriend, John. He must have tried to look for a job and did not find any job at all! She thought.

Hahahaha! She was thankful that she stole that file for her new boyfriend. She had always known that nothing good could ever come from him! He must have thought that he would find a job here, he would be nothing but a gatekeeper! After all, there was no available jobs at the moment. His position had been given to someone else. She thought and smiled as she looked at Richards.

Goodness! He was so hot and handsome in the Italian suit that he was clad in. She had gone to check his net worth on the internet but then, she did not see anything. After all, according to what she heard, the new CEO was really a big boss and he was just very wealthy.

Now, she was seeing it. He was not only wealthy but he was also handsome! If only he could notice her, then, her life would change for good and she would now be called a billionaire's girlfriend! Goodness! She wondered how that would be!

At least, for someone to be able to buy their company, he would be very wealthy. Thank goodness that she also worked as a secretary also, maybe the hot CEO would surely recognize her!

" I am Richards, a personal assistant to the new CEO!"

A manager? Everyone thought. Everyone wanted to be the manager. They all wanted to know him. They all wanted to know how this person would be.

Clara had the feeling that she would be able to meet with the boss of his. He would definetly be so sophisticated. Wow! If she eventually met him and they become lovers, she would also be able to travel as she liked. She would be a boss of her own while everyone lowered their heads at her. How good could that be? She thought and began to imagine what sort of person the CEO would be. She had pictured that he would be this handsome, wealthy man that would have a lot of guards and would want to look at only her. It would definetly be a jackpot to her if that eventually happened! Maybe she would even jilt John also, he was rich and could afford all her needs but he was not wealthy to her own taste!

She was about to raise her hands and tell him that she would be the manager that he wanted when he held Jack's hands and brought him forward.

" I have chosen a new manager and that would be Mr. Jack!"

Her hopes suddenly got crushed the moment that she heard such words. It was evident that they were so shocked to hear that he's the new manager as they looked at each other. They wondered how that is possible.
