Chapter 120

When Arizona got outside, she saw Melissa drive off.

"Melissa! Melissa!" Arizona tried to run after Melissa's car but she did not meet up, especially because two extra cars had driven behind Melissa making it impossible for Melissa to see Arizona through the rear view mirror.

Unable to catch up, Arizona stopped and sighed. She regretted her decision and choice of words.

"Oh Mel, please don't be angry with me, I should have not responded to you that way." Arizona felt a bit sad as she stood a bit dejected soliloquizing.

In the car, Melissa drove steady, her heart thumping fast in her ribcage. Her pulse irregular as she feared her fate. Worst still her phone was completely out so there was no way she could text anyone for help secretly.

Sweaty palms held the wheel tight as Melissa followed after the vehicle in front of her.
