Ric dipped a hand in his hair, ruffling it while the police officers checked the car over with their notepad in their hands while talking in hushed tones.

He cursed silently and he crossed his arms impatiently while staring at the officer next to him who was sending him glares.

“Sir, if I may…” Ric said in an attempt to defend himself again when the officer raised a hand to indicate him to stop.

“No, no you may not” The officer cut him off gruffly while the other person tried to listen to Aliyah's father who was yelling something on the phone.

Ric sighed and looked on, trying to know what would come out of what was happening.

“What is he saying? Give me my phone” Ric said annoyed as he stretched a hand out to recieve his phone while the officer handed it over with trembling hands.
