When the door to the Chairman suite was pushed open, about five or six beautiful ladies walked in.

It was Rose and the other receptionists.

At this time they were looking at Ric with a very different expression on their faces other than the contemptuous looks they had on earlier.

Rose was also smiling very charmingly as she said "Mr. Maximilanno, I am very sorry for the misunderstanding earlier."

"Sorry, Mr. Maximilanno!"

The other beautiful ladies immediately added.

"What do you want? Why are you here?" Ric dried his short black hair with one of the white towels.

Honestly, even though Rose and the other ladies had looked down on him earlier at the reception, he held no grudge against them save for Rose who had categorically instructed the guards to beat him up.

He just didn't like that they could easily judge and mistreat someone because of their physical appearance.

It was obvious that Johnson had already cautioned these beautiful ladies sternly.

"We are here to accompany you and would do anything you ask us to do as long as you forgive us." Rose said again.

These beautiful ladies who worked at the Serene Resorts has only one mission and that was to accompany a rich man.

Therefore they were going to make judicious use of this opportunity given to them by Mr. Rogers to repair and rebuild a firm relationship with Ric.

Even if they didn't feel any remorse they couldn't help but rush forward.

Who was a rich man?

The man that stood before then was the definition of a rich man because he was the most prestigious and influential man in the building. Even the all powerful Mr. Rogers had bowed to him!

Ric was a bit stunned by their response.

All five?

"Did you say anything?" Ric asked

He had no intention to let Rose come close to him after her response to him earlier.

"Yes Sir, anything!" Rose was still at the fire front of the responses.

"Then you, leave!" Ric answered colly referring to Rose. He knew it would be a great punishment for her not to accompany him that day.

Though her face fell in disappointment, she didn't argue or try to be arrogant. Rose had hoped that Ric was going to forgive her since she was naturally the most beautiful amongst the other girls.

However she handed over some gadgets to the other ladies before exiting the suite. She had brought these gadgets along to impress Ric.

However, when she left the other ladies sat Ric on the huge dresser while one busied herself with drying his hair completely.

"What would you like for us to do Sir?" One of the beautiful ladies with blonde hair asked Ric.

"I would appreciate a full body massage." Of a truth his whole body ached because he had only just recovered from one beating when he was sentenced to another all thanks to Rose.

The beautiful lady with blonde hair naturally pointed one of the gadgets Rose had handed her to the wall.

Then the huge cloth wall which Ric had not noticed earlier began to separate revealing something very stunning.

There was a very sophisticated massage area which was dimly lit with coloured lights.

Ric decided to power his phone first before letting himself loose to his masseuse.

When Ric put on his phone, he saw a message from Melissa his Ex wife.

'Your property would be thrown out of the Steffanina Mansion today if you don't come and pick them up.'

Even though Ric wanted to stay back and enjoy the treatment by these beautiful ladies he had to go back to the Steffanina Mansion and pick up his personal belongings including his important documents.

He knew that Melissa wasn't threatening because her family despised him much and would go any length to completely get rid of him.

Ric looked around for change of clothes and discovered that someone had already taken away his old clothes. Maybe it was during his time in the shower.

"Is there something you need Sir?"

One of the beautiful ladies asked Ric when she noticed the discomfort on his face.

"Yes, my clothes."

"Oh Sir, Mr Rogers already ordered a couple of items for you should we call the boutique to bring them up?"

" Sir, your old clothes are with the laundry."

"They're too old. Should we ask them to dispose them off at once?"

The beautiful ladies suggested.

"No, ask them to send it back to me. I need to go somewhere now." Ric replied.

Ric was going to the Steffanina Mansion and he didn't want to dress flashy since he wasn't certain of his stance as the chairman or the owner of all the Maximilanno property.

"Please excuse me ladies, I would like a little bit of personal time." Ric added.

"Wait,” Ric called after the beautiful ladies before they exited through the door.

"Here take this as a tip.” Ric handed each of them a three hundred dollar bills each.

The ladies were very excited when they left.

After that Ric emptied the rest of the money and decided to drop by Mr. Lombardi's resort to return his bag afterwards.

When Ric’s clothing arrived, he immediately searched his pants for a certain necklace. He searched every pocket and got agitated when he did not find it.

Just then the bell at his door rang, “Good day Sir, your clothes have arrived." The chauffeur at the door announced and Ric stepped aside to allow the other three men that carried different bags to walk in.

The men carefully unpacked and arranged different luxury and designers clothes yet Ric was still unsatisfied.

"I will like to confirm if you saw your any necklace while doing the laundry for my clothes,” Ric inquired from the same person who had responded to him earlier.

"Oh Yes Sir, it was some old fashioned piece of jewelry, I thought you would not need it anymore so I instructed them to discard it.” The man spoke with no remorse.

Matter of fact he felt that he did something commendable in the sight of Ric, besides a rich man like Ric would not need such a wretched piece when he owned and could easily afford jewelry stores worth tens of millions.

However, the man did not expect such a cold reply from Ric “Get it to me right now if you want to to continue working here."

When the man saw the look on Ric’s face and heard the chill in his voice he immediately knew he was wrong. He bowed himself ninety degrees and apologized to Ric immediately.

"I am sorry Sir, I will get it back immediately.” That was what the man said before he scurried away in fear to retrieve the necklace. The man thought to himself that if Ric had reacted that way to a simple old fashioned necklace then he must really be a humble man or th necklace was a relic Ric was unwilling to let go of.

Whichever was the case, the man did not dare find out, he simply retrieved the necklace from where it had been put away by the laundry workers and returned it to Ric with haste.

Ric was already fully dressed and about to leave his suit when the man came running down the empty corridor to return the necklace to Ric.

“I am sorry Sir, here is your necklace." The man immediately handed the necklace to Ric with his both hands and his head bowed, he did not dare offend Ric any further.

“Thank You, please I need a car to take me to a specific location. How can I get one?" The man was shocked that Ric would say thank you to him but he focused on giving Ric an to the question he asked.

“Sir, Mr. Rogers already made available a G wagon and a rolce Royce to take you to wherever you want to go.” Ric was not exactly comfortable with the choice of luxury cars but he had no order means of transporting himself to the Steffanina Mansion.

"How about you order a taxi for me with your device. Mine doesn't not have that feature.” Ric used a remote phone that could barely browse the internet not to think of having such fancy applications.

In the past, Ric would simply drive one of the Steffanina trucks to wherever he needed to go to run errands so he never thought of a need to change his phone.

"Sir but Mr. Rogers will not be happy if he finds out that—"

"He does not have to find out then. Do as I say.” Ric interrupted the man's uncertainty with a sly reassurance that held an ambiguous meaning.

“Y-Yes Sir.” When the man remembered the instructions Mr Rogers had given them on how to treat Ric, he did not argue further. He thought to himself that if he obeyed Ric and got into trouble with Mr. Rogers, then Ric would be able to save him but if the reverse was the case he would be on the streets in no time.

He ordered the vehicle for Ric

When Ric got to the Steffanina Mansion, he found his belongings outside the gates on the streets.
