Everyone was stunned when they heard the statement from Mr Gerald.

They knew Mr Gerald wasn't the kind of man or would easily agree to a request unless there is something attached to it.

“I will only agree to meeting here tomorrow if only I get a written statement from Amelia stating that she would end her relationship with Richard and accept my proposal” Mr Gerald said.

Richard and Amelia were struck with confusion seeing how desperate Mr Gerald was in getting Amelia for himself.

Amelia could only accept his request because that was the only way out for her to be given more time till the next day.

“Alright I will do that if that will make you happy”Amelia said as she filled in an undertaking stating that she would accept Mr Gerald's proposal if Richard could not come up with an investigation for the company tomorrow.

Richard, seeing this wasn't pleased that he had placed Amelia in this terrible situation.He decided to calm Amelia down by expressing his conviction that his investor wo
