Mrs Nathaniel was surprised on hearing what Mr Anderson had just said.

“Who is this chair-man of the Apex group that wants my contract terminated?” Mrs Nathaniel asked curiously.

Even though it was obvious that Richard apparently was the Chair-man of the Apex group, Mrs Nathaniel was still in doubt and wanted to be sure that Richard was actually the chair-man of the Apex group.
