On arriving at his hostel,he discovered that everywhere was quiet and no one was left at home.He was surprised that they left for the class on time but when he tried to check his wrist watch he discovered that he had 10 minutes to make it to the class.

Mrs Harper class is a class no one dares to go late for because once she arrives before you you'll be left to wait outside the hall until she's done with the class.

Richard was very well aware of it and he hurriedly left his hostel for the class to see if you can still meet up with the class. He left with his bag and the bag containing the huge sum of money.

5 minutes later you're right at the classroom but he was still late when recharge got to the classroom entrance he felt the whole class staring at him

Mrs Harper was already in the classroom and as usual,Richard will not be allowed into the hall.

“Excuse me!” Richard called out as you stood by the door.

Mrs Harper have been focused on her teachings that she forget to notice

Mrs Harper stopped her teaching and turned to look at Richard.

“Do you have any idea what time it is now? Are you here to learn or to waste away your time”

“Come here, why are you still wearing your waiter's uniform? Are you here to serve us drinks or to take our orders” Mrs Harper ridiculed Richard.

She was aware that Richard worked as a waiter in a restaurant close to the school. It was a restaurant familiar to the students and the lecturers in the school. So everyone was aware that Richard worked as a waiter in the restaurant.

All the students in the class burst out laughing at Richard.

The two who laughed the loudest were Dominic and Jane. They were currently sitting in the last row of the classroom and flirting with each other. The sight of them made Richard feel bitter. That was because when Richard and Jane were still together, she had never sat with him before.

All of his classmate obviously knew about Jane dumping him

Richard was familiar with the Mrs Harperridicule. She will often ridicule him she usually look down on poor students like Richard but try to please the student from healthy families

“Get your miserable self out of my class this instant” Mrs Harpersaid furiously.

Richard had to stay outside the class while Mrs Harpertaught the whole class. He felt very bittered about this as he had made an effort to meet up with the class.

After Mrs Harperwas done teaching she walked towards the door and turned attention to Richard and gave him a stern warning not to come late for her class again or else he would have to repeat her class the next semester.

Richard entered the class after Mrs Harper left.

“Richard, are you alright?” Richard's roommate,Charles, asked after meeting him.

“I'm fine,” Richard replied.

“Where have you been all this while? I have really been worried about you.I have looked everywhere for you but no trace of you could be found”

“It's a long story, Charles but I'm good now,” Richard replied.

“Why were you late?By the way,I heard that you and Jane are no longer together”.

“Oliver, don't bring up something like that,” Charles said with annoyance.

Charles and Oliver often helped Richard in school and Richard was always indebted to them.

Charles and Oliver assumed Richard was in a bad mood, so they did not disturb him further.

The attention of everyone in the class was drawn to a girl who was probably in her early 20s. She was pretty and had a nice figure. Her legs were fair and long. She had a pink short dress and a pair of office shoes which made her look very attractive and beautiful. She was Christabel Wood, the class representative.

Christabel was very kind and innocent. Unlike other girls in a class that looked down on Richard for being Poor.Christabel had never looked down on Richard instead she had looked for ways to help Richard many times.

She had announced that the lecturer that was supposed to take the next class was not around so the class has been canceled.

“We can now have our get-together as a class.Let's do lunch together? ''Christabel said enthusiastically.

The whole class had been anticipating another class get-together.They had really enjoyed the last one they had.

At that moment, Charles ran to Richard and place his hands over Richard shoulder and said “Richard come join us today it's been a while since you join us for a class get together”.

“Charles why inviting that pauper how could he have the money to attend the get together” a girl on a black skirt yelled out.

Richard could not help but lift his head to look at the girl. She was Natasha Bryan,Jane best friend and roommate.

Natasha looked down Richard and often bullied him.A huge part of the reason behind Jane dumping Richard and choosing to be with Dominic was due to Natasha's instigation.

“Exactly how can a pauper like Richard afford to go to a lunch party?”Jane other friend,Isabella John added with sarcasm.

It wasn’t just about spending money—it was about transformation. For the longest time, Richard had worn the same worn-out clothes, not because he wanted to, but because he had no other choice. His old outfits had become a reflection of his financial struggles, a constant reminder of the life he had endured before everything changed. Now, with money no longer being an issue, there was no reason to continue looking like the same struggling man. The first step had been upgrading his phone. He had just walked out of the Apple Store, holding a brand-new iPhone 14 Pro Max—a purchase that once would have been nothing more than a distant dream. Just moments ago, he had dismissed Richard as a nobody—someone unworthy of entering the prestigious Crystal Spring Mall. But now, he realized his mistake. “Sir… please, you may enter the mall now,” the security guard stammered, his voice laced with nervousness. Richard arched an eyebrow at the sudden change in attitude. What brought this about? He hadn’t even said anything yet. Then, it clicked—James. James must have contacted the mall’s management, and the impact had been immediate. The security guard swallowed hard. “Sir, is there anything I can do for you?” he asked, his voice almost pleading. It was clear he was desperate to get back into Richard’s good graces. He understood now—Richard wasn’t just anyone. For him to have the influence to reach the mall manager directly, he must be someone powerful. The security guard feared the consequences of offending such a person, especially when his job wa

Only the top executives in the Morgan Empire’s network of businesses were aware that Richard had recently taken over. Still, the sight before him deeply unsettled him. He had expected Richard to be welcomed with the highest form of respect, yet here he was—mocked, insulted, and even denied service in a mall that belonged to his own empire. Richard was escorted out of the mall by James and the heavily built men who had arrived with him. Their movements were smooth, calculated, and protective, making it clear they were trained professionals. As Richard walked beside them, his mind was still processing everything that had happened inside the Crystal Spring Mall. “I didn’t expect to see you here, James,” Richard said, genuinely surprised. He had assumed James would handle the situation over the phone, not that he would personally show up in full force. “I had to come the moment you told me you weren’t allowed into the mall,” James replied, his tone firm. Richard gave a small chuckle. “It wasn’t really a big deal. You shouldn’t have troubled yourself to come all the way here. But…” He smiled warmly. “I still appreciate it.” James glanced at Richard with a knowing look. “You may think it wasn’t a big deal, but disrespect toward you is not something we take lightly.” Richard nodded in understanding. He felt a sense of anticipation and curiosity welling up inside him. This restaurant was one of the few he hadn't yet stepped foot in, and he was determined to make it today. However, his appearance was less than fitting for such a prestigious venue. The weight of the moment settled in, but his focus was unwavering. With a slight flick of his wrist, the first needle slid into Andrew's lower abdomen. His hands were steady, his movements precise, as a pulse of energy seemed to flow through the needle into the old man’s body. Each insertion seemed to stir something deep within the old man’s body—like something was awakening, shifting beneath his skin. For a moment, Richard could almost feel it, the tension, the r
