chapter thirty

The manager knew that he had to set things right. The cashier had treated Richard terribly and the manager had just realized that Richard was no ordinary man. His card shows that he was among the top and influential people in the country and the manager wouldn't want to lose such an important person to another rival eatery.

The manager turned to the cashier and gazed at her seriously.

No doubt from the look one could clearly tell that the manager was expressing his displeasure on the cashier.

“So you have to turn down this notable customer of ours when he asked you to try out his card, I'm pretty sure that you did not give it a trial, you just made your conclusion”the manager said.

“I was thinking there was no need for me to give it a trial since it was clear that this card isn't in use so he was just trying to waste our time”the cashier replied.
