10 years ago in the limbo, during the 100000 demon onslaught trial:

'Hmmmm it seem that the brat is actually making some progress.' I thought to myself.

 

: "LIGHT INVERSE: FLARERING SPEAR!" the brat shouted as he had launched a giant spear of light towards a large hoard of demons, as the blast disintegrated them all in one swoop.

 

'Interesting... he managed to form another spell making this one his 1000th new spell.... Fascinating.' I thought being impressed by it.

'But still there is something still on my mind..... If I and the brat now share the same mind and essence..... Then does that mean that we can switch places between entities hmmm if am correct then I will be able to take over for the brat when necessary but still I'm still not sure.....' I thought but then got a good idea but a very risky one indeed.

 

: "WELL THEN I GUESS IT'S TIME FOR ME TO PREPARE HIS FIRST EXAM...... AND I HAVE SOMEONE JUST IN MIND." I said as I summoned my scythe and tear through limbo to enter the portal I just made to an unknown location, as this was where I was going to get my first examiner.

Present; during the death match:

I REFUSE TO LOSE!!!" he said as his aura flared out uncontrollable as he moved at blinding speed towards the brat who stood up as his destroyed face had started to regenerate and he brought his right hand out.

: "so you're a weapon begin too... WELL IT DOESN'T MATTER YOUR TIME IS UP" He said, as he launched a full powered fist frontal attack at the boy.

: "W-WHAT H-HOW COME." he said in shock, as the boy had use his left hand to hold his fist and still didn't flinch by his attack. As then the black orb had turned into ...... a scythe.

: "BeCaUSe. I. Am......dEaTH; slicing judgment" the brat said as a dark light ray emerged out of the sky and headed straight onto Asterix.

: "I'M NOT GOING DOWN THAT EASILY – HUH WHAT IS GOING ON LET GO OF MY HAND." He said as the blast is almost reaching him but still he could not get his hand free from the brat grasps.

: "no no NO I REFUSE TO LOSE AAAAAARRRGGGGHH." Asterix shouted, as he then decide to tear off his arm and escaped the blast.

The blast had dispersed and the dust had settled down as I saw asterix with a missing which was in the grasp of the brat as the blast had disintegrated it and turn it into ash.

: "no I can't lose.... I won't lose.... I WON'T GIVE UPPHHHH." He shouted as he was now overcome with..... Corruption in which had doubled his power as he grew his arm back but was now like a demon arm.

: "I don't care if I have to get corrupted as long as I am able to defeat you then it's fine by me" he said as a blinding light had covered him but the settled as his form had changed into a more larger entity like demon because now he was about 3 times his former height.

: "I WILL END YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL DANTE!!" he shouted as the kid form had changed to at least something similar to my look and had an unfazed look on his face as he pointed his scythe at him and altered just one word that carried a whole lot of badass shit vibes.
