11 years ago, Sydni had a husband and a son, her son was 3 years old when they went to an old land city for sight seeing, she was having an argument with her husband when her son wondered off. They didn't follow him as he had his robot companion with him.
When the robot didn't bring him back, after 10 minutes they went to check on him.
The robot companion was then found with a blazing hole in it, and her son was no where to be seen.
They immediately requested help from the nearest tower, which sent a few hundred drones that flew with the speed of mach 5 and reached them in a matter of minutes, with the help of the drones and their car which had a scanning range of 5 kilometers, they found no traces of him.
They lost their son in an age where losing the head on their shoulders would be way easier. The news of this accident went viral, the company that made the robot companion went bankrupt, people stopped trusting their children to their companions.
Sydni cried for days, and her heart bled for years, she hated her husband, not for losing her son, she hated him for not finding her son.
After 3 years of grief she found the job in the orphanage which is away from any technology in a forest on land, she thought it would be the perfect escape for her. What she found instead was a constant reminder of her lost son, however, with the number of lost kids there she couldn't just abandon them.
"so… how about ice-cream?!" she said after a few long seconds of silence, while the car is suspended in the air above the city.
"I would rather get back 'home' to my 'life', thank you!" Adam said emphasizing on the two words that hurt the most for Sydni, he didn't mean to hurt her, he simply didn't care.
Sydni's smile disappeared once more, she had a challenging look on her face. "by the power of the grown-up I here by order thee, we will have ice-cream." She said in a theatrical performance that Adam didn't understand and thought she's high on something.
After having an ice-cream, Sydni finally took Adam home, she wanted to make him enjoy life or something, he just wasn't the kind to be easily influenced, So she gave up.
In the floor 61, of a 309 floor building, in 17th street, in section 16, of the 81st circle. Adam stood in front of the door that scanned him, the door didn't open until Adam pointed with two fingers at miss Sydni, which the door understood to be a guest.
Sydni was instantly shocked when she entered the apartment, the living room alone was bigger than her entire apartment. "how did you get a place this big in 81?" she said with her jaw almost dropping. "how rich is your family?!"
"please! Don't make yourself at home." Adam said as he walked into a wall that opened up for him and closed right after.
"cluster fabric!!" she held her head with both hands from exploding. "how much of this place is cluster fabric?!" she wondered while touching the walls and the chairs and tables, she looked weird doing that but her shock was sincere.
Other than using scanners, There is no way to tell that something is a cluster fabric until it starts changing its shape. Cluster fabric isn't cheap, a kilogram of cluster fabric costs more than a thousand coins, in its pure form. The amount in her car is only a little bit more than 5 kilograms.
Meanwhile, in his room for the first time in 3 months, the first thing Adam did was taking off his clothe, and threw them in the organic disposal, which immediately vaporized them. He then entered the bathroom, with a gesture of his hand he initiated the full disinfection protocol.
The disinfection protocol is used for extreme cases of pollution, it basically shoots a microscopic ray of laser vaporizing any thing on the body that does not match the genetic code of the patient. Then it encases the entire body with in a liquid made of microscopic robots that basically makes sure the laser did its job.
Now relaxed and clean, also for the first time in 3 months, Adam threw himself into the bed, which hugged him like a loving mother.
'alright, its time to work.' He thought as he headed to the system core area, the core area is used for system commands or modifications, it is also used for modifying the cluster fabric connected to it.
Adam gestured to the core to do a full scan on him, two pieces of the fabric split from the wall turned into metallic balls and circled Adam's body twice.
A display then appeared in front of him with the results, other than an abnormal rise in density and health, he found nothing else wrong with his body, his brain waves were normal, the disinfection protocol didn't consider the black circle on his right palm a foreign object as well.
"monitor brain activity." He ordered the system core, a chunk of the fabric then turned into a screen showing his brain waves in multiple ways.
'what is my current enhancement level?' Adam asked inwardly as he kept his eyes on the screen watching his brain waves spike.
[current enhancement subject: metabolism.
Progress: 160%.]
Adam watched both spikes instantly happening, in less then a second. "isolate and compare brain activity." He wanted to see if he can isolate the symbiote, the system registered the symbiote the same as his brain waves, which means it wasn't lying about being a part of his consciousness.
"full vital monitoring." He now wanted to know what happens when he scans the system core, this system gave Adam full access to the network, which is the only system that will ever do, when his father installed the system it registered Adam as another owner, not as a child.
As he approached the core slowly, he was hoping he won't regret this decision. His hand touched the core, and a tingling feeling stronger then any other time was felt in his hand.

It was taking longer than normal, a few seconds passed and Adam started to regret his decision. It scanned Elina's 30 years worth of data in a split second, and now more than 30 seconds have passed.
When he tried to take his hands off he found himself unable to move at all, not just his hand, his legs, his head, his eyelids, every thing in him was frozen.
Two minutes later, Adam went on full swear mode. He used every word he can think of, he thought about searching for more online and remembered that he can't move, he then used them all again.

Adam fell on the ground the moment these thoughts appeared in his head. 'Data over load!!' he was astonished. 'exactly how much data did you absorb to overload my brain!!?' he asked as he stood back up, checking the multiple screens in front of him.[unable to calculate exact quantity… Approximate quantity: 1 quintillion yottabyte.]The screens showed Adam's body to be absolutely normal In these two minutes, his brain activity on the other hand, was so high, higher than someone having an epileptic seizure. Adam didn't ponder on this matter for long, simply because he didn't understand much of it, he didn't even know there is a number with this much zeros. He opened a shopping window. 'do I need to buy anything other than these 4 nutrients packages?' he asked the symbiote, now trusting in it, if there is no way to separate them, and no way to tell them apart, then why worry. [items needed for future plans are:60 robotic system core, 10 kilogram G30-2 nanite cluster fabric, 1 Astro
… [storage capacity successfully upgraded.New communication system successfully implemented.]Twelve hours passed, Adam felt a mental fatigue like never before. He knew it would be hard, but he almost lost his mind, being unable to move for 12 hours while completely conscious made him feel like a prisoner in his own body. Time didn't seem to pass at all, the 12 hours felt like a few days. The first thing he did was ask the system core about the guest, it informed him that she is asleep, Adam was disappointed, he hoped she would get bored and leave, doesn't seem to be happening though. After a long time not moving, Adam was eager to test his new body, the moment he stood up, a very odd thing happened to him, something in the corner of his vision made him flinch. "what is this!!" he wondered looking at the circular black object shining with a dim yellow light, it reminded him of a certain terrifying night. [the new visual system derived from virtual games, includes skills, abiliti
Adam was running at his maximum speed for 5 minutes, he didn't feel tired nor fatigued, but he used 7 energy points of the 13 he had when he finished the upgrade, he wondered if this is normal. 'is this the normal energy consumption while running?!' he asked. before getting the symbiote he would eat so little and digest the normal way, which had many waste. However, he never needed to eat this much, he is now burning energy so fast by just moving around. [energy consumption rate is natural, 7 energy points were used to run a distance of 5.8 kilometers in 5.12 minutes.]Adam looked at the information at the screens in front of him, he confirmed that what the symbiote said was quite accurate. The normal human would not be able to maintain a sprint for 5 minutes, and the trained athletes would not be able to run at 76 kph, unless modified of course. 'ok then, enough playing around.' He said as he headed back to his room. 'what about that fighting technique?! How am I going to learn i
"hey Sydni!" a muscular bald man in his late thirties stood a few steps away from Sydni, looking at her in deep sorrow, tears almost visible in his right eye, his left eye unaffected."Lan! You look so different!" a saddened surprise hit Sydni and made her almost look older, so many tears she held back for so long finally overwhelmed her, they escaped her eyes in flooding rush."it's Johnny now… are you okay?!" he said approaching her with a worried look, he didn't touch her, he just stood closer to her chair."I'm fine…" she didn't have Enough strength to stand and greet him. "actually I'm not." She stopped holding back.Since she started this vacation to help Adam, she had too much time to think about the past, what little words Adam said during this time reignited her grief. And now seeing the man who shared her grief looking like a totally different person, it made her feel that both of them were running away in different directions."what happened to you?!" she said among her sob
[starting dismantling process, 170 energy will be used during the dismantle.]Adam looked at the stats in the corner of his eye and he had 200 energy points, he now have twice the energy capacity, which is more convenient since he will be using so much energy for this plan. Surprisingly the dismantle process wasn't painful at all, it was actually relieving. The symbiote wasn't forcefully boosting the digestion as usual, instead, it stopped the enzyme production completely, replacing it with a viscous substance that absorbed the cores one by one. Adam looking at this process, couldn't help but ask. 'what is this stuff?!' he was watching the process through the thought projection in real time. [a part of the symbiotic state.]It didn't seem to have the words to describe it, even though the symbiote had nearly the entire public data of the humanity's network, they didn't have information about what it is, it didn't even have words to describe it. So it transmitted the basic idea of wh
Adam found it easier to manipulate the fabric using the skill, as he only needed to think of what he want it to do, and the symbiote takes care of the technical stuff. He turned it into a historical car shape, and the symbiote made all the realistic details. It added two rubber wheels, glass windows, metal frames, it even added the engine and the working gears.Adam held the now realistic, 30 centimeters long, red ancient car in his hand, he opened the little doors and looked inside, it had a brown textured leather interior, a dashboard with all kinds of buttons and leverages, some screens with information on them, little compartments that Adam couldn't reach but opened them with his mind.He flipped the car and mentally removed a layer hiding the functional parts, and they were tiny but working, he checked the engine and found that full of details as well.He got excited and couldn't wait to try it out, if he could add all that details using one kilogram of the fabric, he imagined wh
Mela didn't follow him, she just stood there. "what's wrong?" he asked, looking at her blankly. "Mom says I shouldn't leave home, because I'm sick!" she said hesitantly, fidgeting with her silky long brown hair. Adam approached her abruptly, he touched her forehead making her flinch. [Data discovered… Scanning… Analyzing…Human, data updated. Inferior physical condition. Myotonia Congenita detected. Treatment in progress, efficiency 20%.Target's current condition, 78% muscle function. Low blood sugar detected. Sugar consumption advised.Dehydration detected.…] "ouch!! Why did you zap me?!" Mela shouted as The symbiote reported the scan based on Adam's concerns. It also transmitted to his mind all he needs to know about the myotonia Congenita. Myotonia congenita is a rare genetic disorder that causes muscle stiffness and muscle growth. Symptoms can also include clumsiness, muscle cramps and weakness. "You are not sick. Lets go." Adam grabbed her hand and dragged her along
"I worked as a mercenary for the army for 3 years, they sent me to space, there is no peace in space." Johnny sighed, tears built up in his eyes as he remembered the things he lived through in that duration. He traveled from a planet to another, aiding the earth's army in hunting dangerous monsters that threaten the human colonies."That tower was my last adventure out there, I lost my arms and legs and got my spinal cord destroyed. All they had of me to save was some brain matter and most inner organs." He said, finishing his story, while looking at Sydni. Sydni had no more tears to shed as she listened to the details of the accident that happened to Lan, who's now called Johnny. "At least you still remember the kid you lost." She snarled. Johnny looked at her for a while, his eyes showing a badly hidden sympathy. "I hope I see you more often Sydni, it was nice catching up! Goodbye!" he said as he passed his hand on a transparent area on the table, indicating that he payed for the
