New communication system successfully implemented.]
Twelve hours passed, Adam felt a mental fatigue like never before. He knew it would be hard, but he almost lost his mind, being unable to move for 12 hours while completely conscious made him feel like a prisoner in his own body.
Time didn't seem to pass at all, the 12 hours felt like a few days.
The first thing he did was ask the system core about the guest, it informed him that she is asleep, Adam was disappointed, he hoped she would get bored and leave, doesn't seem to be happening though.
After a long time not moving, Adam was eager to test his new body, the moment he stood up, a very odd thing happened to him, something in the corner of his vision made him flinch. "what is this!!" he wondered looking at the circular black object shining with a dim yellow light, it reminded him of a certain terrifying night.
[the new visual system derived from virtual games, includes skills, abilities, statistics, and more, using the new system and outside materials, the host can benefit from synchronized abilities with minimal distress.]
'virtual games…' Adam's voice dragged. 'was the network a bad influence on you! I thought you gonna have sh*t load of useful knowledge! You played virtual games instead?!' he was disappointed.
Instead of answering, the symbiote opened his status window on the visual system, it started explaining what Adam was looking at.
[strength stat: monitors the overall score of muscle density, bone tolerance, body mass.
Current strength: 20.
Stamina stat: monitors the overall score of stress tolerance and fatigue.
Current Stamina: 20.
Vitality stat: monitors the overall score of all internal functions.
Current vitality: 20.
Energy stat: monitors the stored energy, the unrefined energy, the maximum capacity.
Current energy: 13/200.]
Adam kept looking at them for a while, he didn't know how to react to this change, he played some virtual games before, he just didn't like them, even though they were almost as real as reality, it was a game in the end.
Now the symbiote made him feel like he is in a virtual game. 'do I revive if I die as well!?' he asked in a sarcastic tone.
[Insufficient data…
Synchronization incomplete…
Testing required…]
'you became too smart!' he sighed. 'like f*k I'm gonna test that.'
To test his body strength Adam went back to the system core area, where the other 3 boxes still on the ground. "Combat training routine." He ordered the system while stretching his muscles, before he was sent to the orphanage, he did this routine every single day.
training routine and health care functions are all part of the main home system, Adam discovered this when he was 7 years old, the system creates training robots out of the cluster fabric connected to it, and they can fight on multiple levels.
"survival mode." he ordered. this mode will keep Making robots, and as they get destroyed, the difficulty will increase until the subject could no longer fight.
the default combat training system would not injure the subject, the robots will just try to immobilize him.
Adam used to survive to Level 3, then the robots would gang up on him, hugging him to death.
As the training routine started, the floor formed ripples sending the boxes and everything else to the corners, then a gray head emerge from the gray floor, less than a second 3 robots the same shape and size as Adam were heading towards him.
[a fighting style available. Modified for the host by combining all available fighting techniques on the network.]
'what the… why didn't you tell me earlier!!' Adam ran away from the robots as he screamed. "stop the training routine…" if he didn't run first the active robots would already be on top of him before he could give the order.
in training routines the floor would become endless, as the fabric beneath him would move keeping him in place no matter how fast he runs, and he found himself running very fast.
When he found this speed new to him he was distracted, he increased his running speed as far as he can. "full monitoring." He shouted while running, a screen appeared in front of him showing a few numbers.
Time: 42 seconds.
Speed: 72.5 kilometers/hour
Distance: 845.833 meters
Heart rate: 216 heart beat/minute
Adam was so thrilled and amazed, the maximum recorded speed of unmodified humans is under 60 kph, He is running faster than the current world record holder, his heart rate is normal as well, which indicates that he is not stressing his body at the moment.
Wanting to figure out his limit, Adam asked. "what is the maximum movement speed of the floor?!" to answer him, the core brought out another screen showing the statistics of the connected cluster fabric, and highlighting the response speed and movement speed.
Cluster fabric model: G5-20.
Response speed: 0.0001 seconds.
Adaptive movement speed: 200 kph.
"well lets see how fast I can get then." He said while not panting.
He is feeling free from all his previous limitations and shackles, his heart is beating Rhythmically as if nothing can interrupt its rhythm, his muscles exploding with power the moment it hits the floor making small dents in the cluster fabric with each step, the cluster fabric forever holding its own against this power, his hand cutting through the air like a sharp knife, his lungs cleansing the air out of oxygen like an angry void. He feels free.
As he kept running his speed didn't increases beyond 76 kph, suddenly, the new visual system activated a weird alert, a caution message appeared in front of him, it didn't distract him nor obstructing his vision, it just floated there.

Adam was running at his maximum speed for 5 minutes, he didn't feel tired nor fatigued, but he used 7 energy points of the 13 he had when he finished the upgrade, he wondered if this is normal. 'is this the normal energy consumption while running?!' he asked. before getting the symbiote he would eat so little and digest the normal way, which had many waste. However, he never needed to eat this much, he is now burning energy so fast by just moving around. [energy consumption rate is natural, 7 energy points were used to run a distance of 5.8 kilometers in 5.12 minutes.]Adam looked at the information at the screens in front of him, he confirmed that what the symbiote said was quite accurate. The normal human would not be able to maintain a sprint for 5 minutes, and the trained athletes would not be able to run at 76 kph, unless modified of course. 'ok then, enough playing around.' He said as he headed back to his room. 'what about that fighting technique?! How am I going to learn i

She stopped holding back.Since she started this vacation to help Adam, she had too much time to think about the past, what little words Adam said during this time reignited her grief. And now seeing the man who shared her grief looking like a totally different person, it made her feel that both of them were running away in different directions."what happened to you?!" she said among her sob

Surprisingly the dismantle process wasn't painful at all, it was actually relieving. The symbiote wasn't forcefully boosting the digestion as usual, instead, it stopped the enzyme production completely, replacing it with a viscous substance that absorbed the cores one by one. Adam found it easier to manipulate the fabric using the skill, as he only needed to think of what he want it to do, and the symbiote takes care of the technical stuff. He turned it into a historical car shape, and the symbiote made all the realistic details. It added two rubber wheels, glass windows, metal frames, it even added the engine and the working gears.Adam held the now realistic, 30 centimeters long, red ancient car in his hand, he opened the little doors and looked inside, it had a brown textured leather interior, a dashboard with all kinds of buttons and leverages, some screens with information on them, little compartments that Adam couldn't reach but opened them with his mind.He flipped the car and mentally removed a layer hiding the functional parts, and they were tiny but working, he checked the engine and found that full of details as well.He got excited and couldn't wait to try it out, if he could add all that details using one kilogram of the fabric, he imagined wh

"I worked as a mercenary for the army for 3 years, they sent me to space, there is no peace in space." He traveled from a planet to another, aiding the earth's army in hunting dangerous monsters that threaten the human colonies."That tower was my last adventure out there, I lost my arms and legs and got my spinal cord destroyed. All they had of me to save was some brain matter and most inner organs." He said, finishing his story, while looking at Sydni. Sydni had no more tears to shed as she listened to the details of the accident that happened to Lan, who's now called Johnny. "At least you still remember the kid you lost." She snarled. The one entering from the right side of the arena was a simple looking blue robot, a little shorter than the other one, with black straps spiraling from its leg up. A black sword taller than its body attached to its back, it didn't do any dramatic entering like the first one, it just slowly climbed down.Once they both got to their position, a loud count down began.Three…Two…One…Instantly, both robots started attacking each other. the red one was suicidal, it kept charging while avoiding the sword slashes, it obviously tried to impale its opponent on the spikes coming out of its body. The blue robot was a little faster and lighter on its feet, with its sword lagging behind, it occasionally leveraged the sword to change directions, or to defend itself from the impaling end.The red spiky robot adapted a new tactic, two spikes fell down from its hands, attached with a thin wire, It started swinging the wire with the spikes all over the arena, trying to land a hit on the other robot.

“she just disappeared a year after you were born, and in her place there was a message, telling your father to provide them with a certain type of technology if he ever wants to see her again.” Keet said desperately, his voice struggling in a way.“People don’t just disappear!” Adam chuckled, he was hearing about his mother for the first time, and the first thing he hears about her is that she just disappeared. The first thing that came to his mind was that she might have abandoned him and his father. Or that she could be working with the Rinvar clan.“They don’t, but when you see this you may believe the opposite.” Keet created a screen and played a video of a woman singing a sweet lullaby for an infant wrapped in a sky blue blanket with twinkling stars all over it that seems to be moving about. “please continue!.” Adam said. Seeing the shocked expression on Keet’s face, Adam thought that the symbiote created something amazing, so he inwardly requested the details of those spiders. However they were just normal spider scouts, like the one Adam used to kill the man who attempted to kidnap Mela.Keet’s surprise wasn’t triggered by the blueprint itself, he counted 8 spiders rushing in all directions at the same time, and the 8 if them seemed semi-intelligent while moving all over the base exploring about. Even Keet wouldn’t be able to accomplish such a level of control without automating the constructs.Which means either the spiders were all automated and the young kid already knows how to automate drone actions, which would be scary at his age. Or he was directly controlling 8 individual actions while still focusing on their talking, which would be horrifying. The reason Keet didn’t consider the probability of an artificial intelligence, is that the spiders were mostly just to

He also wanted to show off a little in front of Keet to pretend that he wasn’t in need of help or assistance, which resulted in a minor knee bruise and a sore knuckles.“That was a cool Landing. Was it painful?!.” Keet chuckled, commenting on his landing and making sure to save the footage of it in his memory for later use.“You noticed! Well! It just needs some practice.” Adam smile

“You should come with me to the main base first.” Keet said to Adam, pointing at the middle of the island. The main base wasn’t far from where they were, the whole island was 20 km across, it would take them less then a minute to reach there flying.“Okay you go first and set a beacon, I’ll test some old tech with this new unlimited energy.” Adam didn’t argue with him, but he was still going to do his tests. He turned his clothe into a skin tight jump suit with a helmet covering his face. Two long thin wings grew from his back, ending with a jet engine each.“Do you know how loud these things are?! If you break the sound barrier with them you could damage many equipment on the island. You should try something else.” Keet stopped Adam from firing up the engines. he hated this era of technology for its too little care for the planet’s well-being. A small conversation.
Adam was sitting on a wooden table behind the house, eating his big breakfast while surrounded by trees, flowers, and whistling birds. The rich sunlight bathed him in its warmth and its wide spectrum of electromagnetic radiations. “Birdy didn’t wake up yet?! He sure doesn’t miss Gem.” He said stuffing his face with more food, He stopped focusing on chewing much, the food would disappear in a few seconds anyway. He was worried about Birdy, it was unnatural for the kid to sleep in.Birdy used to wake up earlier then every one, Adam would sometime Hear him laughing on the top bed, he thought at first that he was having some weird dream. When he asked him about it, Birdy Said that it was the only time of the day he would quietly enjoy reading his comics.“That boy is actually quite something! Adam opened his eyes on a massive head of a man with white hair, white groomed beard, and wide opened eyes staring at him with the kind of amusement one would look at a rare creature with.“Waaaah… what the f*ck old man! We have a long, long day to catch.” Keet said with a happy grin, he couldn’t just wait until Adam wakes up, he needed some explanation for the events of yesterday.“What long day? Go catch it yourself! Let me sleep I’m tired.” Adam had nothing to wake up early for. The symbiote calculated that his body would need 9 more days to resume his preparatory enhancement. he no longer had a dead line to find a plan to escape, he was already in a safe place. Birdy was extremely exhausted, he felt that he was about to collapse, but he held on to his consciousness just to finish the third objective of the schedule that Adam created for him. He was disappointed in himself for not being able to continue to the fourth, compared to this schedule, the daily training routine he was used to in the orphanage was literally a breeze. He was oblivious to the fact that he finished a training routine made for an adult athlete, and that there was no fourth objective. the symbiote calculated that he would finish this much of this hell hard schedule, just based on Birdy’s personality, and his ignorance about how hard the training schedule is, and the fact that any human being who experienced weakness would be motivated to become stronger. What kept him going was the image of Keet’s hands wrapping around his whole body, the fear he felt at that moment, he felt too little, and too weak. the name of the protocol Adam created for him made him think that Adam w

4 hours ago, after Adam went to sleep, Birdy decided to test what he can do with the new blueprint that Adam created, but he was afraid to go outside the wooden house, because Keet might be out there, so he was going to settle with testing the small things. He patted the cute white dog, and then ordered it to turn to the full armor mode with his thoughts. The dog immediately seemed to be giving him a jump hug, only to turn into liquid and swallow Birdy’s entire body into the liquid, and then form the armor around his body, the process only took a split second, but it felt longer to Birdy who was in the middle of it.The armor felt lighter than before, and when he took a step forward, he didn’t feel any weight to it at all. in fact, he felt as if nothing could stop his leg from stepping forward. The amount of power behind the single step was enough to destroy anything in his path.He started to become wary of his movement, to not cause any damage to the house. And then he noticed that
