Theo's Majestic Climb From Poverty To Riches

HE QUIT

His face turned pale when his eyes beholded what was in front of him.

Wads of money in every currency possible, won, dollars, pounds, yen, euros.

It was like all the presidents popped out riches and wealth. The room was like an office perfectly furnished with a sky-high view.

" I thought this was a hotel. How?? "

Paul raised his hands in the air, and sighed, " Here is your answer, You are rich. And you were wondering about the hotel, your father owns the hotel. "

What? Did he just say????

" My dad's hotel!!" Theo raised his eyebrows.

" It's yours now. Zara's luxury hotel is yours now, Theo hayzes. 

Bewilderment struck him so hard that he almost lost track of how to breathe. 

 Just yesterday, he was poor now, at this moment the table turned. He watched as Paul stretched out his hand to take a paper across the table.

"These are the documents, Mr Theo!! " He spoke in a loud tone.

Documents??? Rich????

Theo took the documents and opened his mouth in shock, hesitating to believe in his shocking change of fate.

" Or is he trying to scam me? But I have no money, how can he scam me? " He thought.

The paper was put into a big envelope, and Paul added, "If you're still not convinced with all of this, you can read it at home and sign it. When you're ready, you know where to find me."

" Ok. I'll.... I'll go sign it " He stammered.

Theo turned around slowly, and walked towards the door taking two sighs before stepping out the door.

Paul watched as he left, and his face glinted with a smirk, " The time for the heir is now!!! "

After the shocking reveal by Paul, Theo went to his workplace to do the unthinkable, quit!!

He sat in front of the hotel contemplating either to quit or stay for some months. He stood up and made up his mind.

Just as he was about to enter the hotel, someone shoved him away, making him fall to the ground.

" What the hell!! " He cursed, touching his hurt arm.

He slowly raised his head and saw an intimidating figure glaring at him.

It was Richard, the man Gemma chose over him. A smirk played on his face ,and he said mockingly, 

" Hey, aren't you going open the door yourself? Why aren't you in uniform? Ohhh...your soap ran out, and you can't afford to buy another one. Pathetic!!:"

Theo stood up and cleaned his clothes with his unhurt arm, " Soap? I can afford things way more than that, even your worn-out mouth!! " 

Richard gritted his teeth in anguish and asked, "What did you just say? "

" I said I can afford you.....

Without letting him finish his statement, Richard landed a hot slap on Theo's cheeks. Very hot!! 

Theo shook his head and said, "You shouldn't have done that!! "

Immediately, Theo bounced on Richard and began to give him hot blows and slaps with his unhurt arm. Even though he was hurt, he overthrew Richard.

Immediately this was spotted, people rushed to the scene and separated them. Richard was bleeding from his mouth and eyes.

The manager was quickly informed of the ruckus going on outside. Both of them were called inside his office.

They were led to his office ,and this was the first time he was going to his office. He had never been called to the office.

The door swung wide open for the cat and rat, as the manager sat comfortably in his seat.

" I can explain sir!!! " Theo tried to talk but was cut off.

" Hold it. Let Richard speak!! " 

" Sir, this employee I have here is a violent and impatient fellow who can adversely affect our services. Just to hold on while I talk to my mother on the phone. He said I was in his way and pushed me away. When I tried to fight back he beat me profusely. " Richard lied in all of his words.

The manager sighed and turned his gaze to Theo, " Aren't you a guard? And also, didn't you tell me you were hurt and can't work. " he asked curiously.

Theo knew he was screwed up and wanted nothing but to prove that Richard was lying.

" I did say that ,but I wanted to see you that's why... "

The manager cut him off, "How can a hurt person fight? Do you know who Richard is? He is an influential man and also, the fiancee of the company owner's daughter. " 

Wow!! Everyone knows Richard as her fiance and not me. I was fooled after.

" But...

" Do you know what would happen if her parents found out he was beaten by a nobody with me on duty...him."

Theo spoke after his ear was fed with leis and annoying words, " How could I have beat him up over a little thing like that? I have been working in his hotel for so long, and you know my standards and principles. "

" I would have left him if it was something little so as not to hurt myself. He did something bad, and without hearing my side of the story, you're just going to propose that I was at fault. Huh? "

The manager replied, ' You're at fault, Mr Theo. In no circumstances, should you lay your hands on Mr Richard. He's a reserved man that's why he didn't fight back, he values his reputation and legacy more than his life "

" So... I have no choice but to.

" I quit!!! " Theo shouted.

" What?? "

Suddenly, someone barged into the office. 

It was Gemma, and she ran up to Richard to check up on him.

" You...your face. What??? You? "

Richard looked at Theo, and Gemma turned around to see the dog.

" You??? How dare you? How dare you, huh? " She screamed.

Theo's heart shattered in pieces as he saw the love of his life showing remorse for Richard and hatred of him. His heart was racing fast because he felt guilty.

Only Gemma makes him feel guilty.

" Mrs Gemma, everything is being sorted out. You need to calm down. " the manager said.

Gemma shouted, " You just shut the fuck up and stay where you are asked to stay or you'll be fired in no time!! " 

She walked towards Theo and shook her head, " What have I done to deserve this? Do you want to kill the only person I love? You want to kill him because of your jealousy. Get a better job and get a life!! "

" A coward and a prostitute is what you referred to as the love of your life!! " Theo said calmly, staring at her.

Immediately, his face was thrown a slap by Gemma who was looking furious.

" Number one, you're getting fired immediately!!! "

Theo smiled, clicking his tongue, " Don't worry about that. I already quit. I have a new job and a new life. I don't need your influence to survive. I'm going to get another job and show you that it's my time to reign"

Richard let out a loud laugh.

Theo turned around to leave, and Gemma abruptly stopped him.

" You didn't let me finish, Mr

Theo. Number two, you're going to get arrested. now!!! "

" What!! "

" Mr Theo, put your hands in the air. You're under arrest "
