     "You thinking what I am?"

    He held Paul's gaze with his. He didn't know what thoughts were making pawn of the fellow. He couldn't had figure out of course.  Even he was a pawn of his own feelings. He would figure out soonest. He didn't even know what thought he was supposed to nurse. He did wish that he would be able to put up with that. He didn't know if that feeling was right. He was hoping that twould be. He didn't know if that was right or not. He would put up for a while. He shouldn't be nursing much thoughts of course.

      Even Paul was no longer a man. He could read that scribbled on his phizog. He didn't know what the fellow was thinking. He didn't even know what he was supposed to think.
