That night, when the others came back, they gave details of the plan to take down Excalibur and we went over the formation over dinner.
In two days time, we were going to strike the warehouse that Blake, Conny and I had been scouting. I was nervous as hell. I was going for another mission but this mission was on a whole different level. It was nothing like the scouting missions I'd grown fond of. This was going to involve some bloody scenes.
We all went to bed early because we were all going to get the weapons needed for this mission.
Yeah, I said we because they included me. I've never touched a gun in my entire life and now they want me to fire one? Though Harry said he was going to teach me how to fire a gun tomorrow.

The D-day has finally arrived. The day we take down Excalibur for good. The nervousness I had suppressed the whole of yesterday came flooding back.The events of yesterday was so exhilarating that I had almost forgotten the nervousness of today's mission.After picking out our weapons yesterday, Harry and I left to the warehouse. He took me to an abandoned park. He said most of the men in la rinascita came there to practice and train.We practised using empty cans and bottles as targets. It took me four hours of training to be able to hit a target without missing. The first three hours was a complete mess, but I later got the hang of it. After securing death in one if our warehouses, the gang went on an extermination spree. They set all of Excalibur's warehouses on fire, one after the other. But they made sure to shed as little blood as possible.They eliminated the ones who were resistant and spared the ones who weren't by giving them a place in la rinascita. The night sky was filled with smoke from the flames of the burning buildings across the city. A symbol of Excalibur's extinction. There was no way they were going to recover from the amount of damage. This new discovery changes everything. We had a mole in our midst. This meant that we were out in the open. We were exposed to our enemies.We may have defeated Excalibur but we were still at a high risk because now we don't have a clear knowledge of who our real enemies are. The entire week was spent on series of investigations. My eyes shot open and all I could see was white. When my eyes slowly adjusted to my surroundings, I discovered I was in a hospital like room. A bandage was wrapped around my head and an IV tube was connected to my hand.I forced myself to remember what happened before I lost consciousness.I remembered I was staring at Jao a little longer than I had intended and he had caught me.
