CHAPTER 31 - Forceful Entry

Tisane ran like he had never run before. He felt his heartbeat accelerating with every step he took.

~Kpuu~

"Hey watch where you going!"

Tisane dashed past several cars even to the point of almost getting knocked down. He knew he was being reckless, but he just had to get to the NPLC and explain why he didn't report for work for the past two weeks.

Two weeks!

What was he going to say? That he fell sick? He was involved in an accident? He forgot? He lost track of time?

~Sigh~

He remembered the words of Mr Fadeyemi as he met him in his luxurious suite.

~Don't disappoint me boy~

He couldn't believe that was two weeks ago! How would Mr Fadeyemi feel when he steps into his office?

Raising up his head, he saw the NPLC majestic skyscraper just up ahead. On seeing the security guards at the front door, Tisane knew that visiting hours were over.

"Stop!" A security guard stretched forth his hand, to make a stop sign as Tisane came towards the office
