CHAPTER 36 - The Top Floor I

'Keep going kid. You're almost there'

"20, 21, 22, 2----"

'What are you doing?'

'Counting the floors I've passed'

'Why. What's the point in that?'

'Well just to know the number of floors altogether'

'I just told you, there are 25 floors altogether'

'Well..... there's no harm in been sure'

'......'

Some time later.....

'There, that's the last door'

Tisane arrived at an elevator door which was located at top of the tunnel which had extended into a roof made of transparent glass.

'Okay how do I open the door?' Tisane asked after pushing and trying to pry open the door with his hands.

'Jump on one of those ropes and face the door'

'Why?'

'Just do it'

Tisane obeyed as he hopped and grabbed one of the four huge metal rods as he stared at the elevator door.

'Ok what now?'

'Just stare at the door and don't blink'

'Don't blink?' Tisane had a confused look on his face.

'Yes don't blink. Trust me'

After a minute, Tisane's eyes were beginning to become itchy.
