*Bang*
After the thundering sound reverberated on the abandoned building that now half broken, it put birds kited away through the air of the night sky. What come up next is a silent that torridly wishing against the lofty horizon.
...
*Krraak*
The sounds of someone brushing against the debris heard on the stigma of the harkens. With some gravels and stone along with chips of woods strewn around on the grounds, accompanied by the cacophony of the unfortunate sonata.
A man walked, getting close to the intended person.
He using a colored red wine hoodie with a black mask, that on the supposed mouth of it, there is a sewing with a white thread that created a pattern of a smile. Its supposed eyes had spectacles that glimmering with sapphire color. He also had few pieces of metallic armors on his body that damaged and broken here and there.
"You're okay?" He asked with concern while putting his hand on the shoulder of someone who dressed the same way as him.
"… I'm okay…" She said with a feminine voice that could be heard clearly on the man's ear, with her tone that lacking of emotions.
She now sat on the floor with her rumpled, mangled clothes and armors while holding a pale corpse of a woman, dressed with aged and decayed nurse clothes.
The supposed eyes of the corpse gouged out from the sockets, while dried blood embellished some part of her cheeks that seems drawn until the line of the blood trailed, reaching her forehead that at the end delineated the image of an eye. The rest of her body looking fine without the slightest damage as if it was just a woman that died shortly a moment before.
The woman who holding the corpse now could only silently lamenting.
She holding over her overwhelming deep sorrow that eaten away at her heart, and put a well definite amount of heft on her shoulder. Even though it was something that she already used to see, but…
It never failed to scathing sharply at her way.
Biting, scratching and stinging painfully that keep reminding her of the terrors which awoke her with nightmares on each of her sleep.
The guy who hold her shoulder only choosing a silent mourn, while glimpsed at a few dead bodies that now settle on the floor quietly. There's also another corpses that just slept quietly at the surgical bed with few missing pieces of their bodies.
In front of him, there is some huge tube broken with fragments of glass that some settle on the floor, and the other pieces are barely hanging on its original spot.
Clearing his thought away from the depressing scene, he then trying to cheered her up flavourfully with a crisp tone that failed horribly, "Hey, look at the good side. No casualties. That's rare with how tough the fight that just happens." He said, ended with a raspy voice that putting him awkward for a few moments.
He then continued it by looking to the side, specifically at the four people that using black clothes all over their body, that now busy talking with their Leader. He then continued, "Without them, few of us will going to survive tonight."
"… Yeah… How about Tori?" She answered with voice that peaked up slightly and make it seems like what the man's done are quite payoff.
"He's fine. Eh, such a mess. How can he sleep when we practically buzz our ass off. Lucky, we're arrived when he's just done in his strange state."
"… I see… What about his memories? Why did they erase tonight incident? Isn't it good if he knew all this sooner than later."
"… Dunno. It was those guys who asked us to do so." While pointing his face at the four people in black.
"I'll go check on him." She said while gently and carefully putting the dead bodies of the female nurse to the ground, while the man on her side quickly took a cushion out of nowhere. Then placed it at the supposed head of the corpse.
She then stood up, leaving the man who were now stiffened by the billow that hit him,
"No thank you??? Alright, I thank myself then." He sighed while thought sourly inside, 'She's still so cold to me. But… Why did she softened around kids, especially that boy Tori. Eh, he's not a kid anymore now. Uhhh,,, I'm so jealous… Should I buy a Rune Matrix that made me younger instead.' Then contemplating seriously whether to spend all his money to buy it at the Shrines or Summer Bloom, forgetting the Matrix that he originally wished to purchase to the back of his mind.
"Wait, I'll coming with you." He said, running following the woman who now fastened her step.
Unknown to him, the woman now started to turning red by the teasing giggle from the other members who now is looking at them, trying to humoring themselves from the distressed sight.
…
While the black clothes Igniters are talking with the Leaders of the Enforcers Fifth Squadron*.
"All the corpses are from the victims of the missing case. The discovery ranged from what was reported recently, to the case from fifty years ago. Do you know which occult doing this?" Asked the supposed leader of the Fifth Squadron with his raspy voice. He had similar outfit with the rest of the Enforcers, but with different color that looks like a grey fog.
The question is directed to the man in black clothes that is the only one using different mask, or rather an entirely disparate type of mask. It covering the whole of his face except the hollow on the supposed eyes, alongside the color of silver with red pattern that decorated it. He's the captain of the black clothes group.
"I've never met this kind before. They seem took a liking of gouging human eyes immaculately. Ridge?"
Understanding the gesture of his captain, the only woman in the group then said, "The blood isn't from the corpses. And it contains so much Death Energy that can be confirmed, it was used as a medium to perform Devilry*. But it seems the appliances and the way it affected reality are quiet different from the other devoteers approach of..."
"I got it." Said the man on the group who holding a device, cutting short her words.
The silver masked man then asked, "How's is it?"
"… ... It was an Organization called themselves Divine Sight. We've never met the particular way they done the Death Rite and Sacrificial Ceremony because, they're not from here. Here's…"
He then showed it to them while continuing the explanations, "They first encountered by the Igniters from the Wildeville Empire. No one knew how they formed and who's their leader. But one thing's for sure that could be clarified is, they based their god from the legends of Chirbies and Killtor*."
"You mean that fairy tale for children's? Ridiculous." Interjected by the man who now are livid like a chili sauce, while somehow still had his chewing gums that gnawed between his teeth.
The man who heard his friend comments could only shrugging his shoulder up, while taking another device that is smaller from his pocket, "Well, anything's about those twisted occult is always about, feather brains." He then continued,
"Additional info I found is, apparently, the expedition teams from the Smoothshore Empire also met them on the Gollan's Island." He said, that end up putting the silver masked man puzzled about the authenticity of his statements.
"Where did you find it? There's nothing here about it."
He then said while widen his eyes as if it was a matter of a fact, "Well, its all over the internet. Its very common thing… I mean, you know those sailors and pirates like to tell story and shared on every bar they hand could reach, right? The rules are, do not ever trust them. But beware, put your ear tightly on your head, and listen gingerly. Part of it are an overstatement but, the other part are the truths… See… See this? Just draw the line here, connected it, discern it with some sense,,,, aaaannnd… Hwallaaa. You got the info there." After he finished, he keep on by lifting his eyes.
Looking at them who now were silenced of his articulation that even though sound clear and distinct, all they could see is him talking, turn over few pages on the device he hold, put color on some of it, then,,, he got the conclusions.
"Alright, we'll discuss further on the base. We need to take care of this place first." Interjected by the captain of the black clothes group, which replied with nods by his members.
*Clap*
*Clap*
"Alright guys, the mission's is over. Clear up." Said the leader of the Enforcers squad loudly while clapping his hand.
…
Another thing to take note:
*Enforcer fifth Squadron: Enforcers are one of the Divisions from the Justice Enforcers Main Groups. There's Ten squadron on the Enforcers side.
*Devilry are… Well, cut short. It was a witchcraft using Death Energy. In this story, Devilry is a kind of method including all the preparations for the rite to the Devils or what those twisted organization called as, gods. It explained more when Gavin learn at the academy.
*Chirbies and Killtor. Hmmmmh. I think i gave too much info. But anyway, it'll be fleshed out bit by bit along the story.
… "… Hey…" "… … Hey…" "… Wake up…" Sweet voices heard amidst the gentle breeze of the winds, and the chirpings of the birds. There is also a pair of little hands that keep nudging at the little boy, who lay himself on the green meadows. A boy slowly opened his light hazel eyes to the blue sky that endearing at the faculty of someone perceptions. Then a woman with the same black hairs that as dark as the night sky, which is similar with the little girl walk approaching them. And still, with a face that concealed by the grey fog. She put her knees to the downy
... April 13, 3006 This may all be just a coincidence. That's the conclusion that crossed my mind at first. But the fact is that at midnight last night, at 11:56 to be exact, the five of us somehow ended up at the cemetery, because of this darned Rick of ours. The night before we were at the graveyard, Rick invited the four of us to a restaurant. I was really surprised at how terrible, gloomy and wretched he looked. Three days absent out of school, he looks like he's been sucked by something. Rick told us about his nightmare, then kept begging us to keep him company. In short, he was haunted by a creature that looked like him, but with pale white skin and a smile so wide it ripped his cheeks to bleed. The ghost kept talking to Rick face to face, with its loud creepy whisper. Trying to say something secret, but insisted to voiced it out louder. It told him about various vicious and gruesome things like, they ran when I only killed few among them, she cried, beg, screamed agoni
... Still Gavin POV* … As far as I can remember, Peter was somehow always able to predict lot of unexpected things like accidents. Meanwhile, I can only stand still, unable to feel anything. He had an amazing feeling when something bad was about to happen. This managed to leave me speechless, seeing how objectively unreasonable it was. Peter is also the only friend I'm really close with. I myself don't like having relationships with other people, in a sense which is a bit odd for some reason. I just wanted to be left alone. And often that desire gets me really into a lot of trouble, because I can't even ask other people for help. Apart from all that, then I met Peter as someone who I think or you could say my initial assumption is someone who is quite annoying, but sometimes or more often than not, I can't deny that his opinion is somewhat reasonable. As much as I keep myself busy with everything I delve and learn. I came to the conclusion, that life is about how much valu
… 3rd POV* ... Peter who listened to what Nilfour said was taken aback, because some people who heard his chatter including Gavin tended to be just silent, confused and unsure whether to believe his words or not. Although there are some who actually take Peter's words seriously. ... Peter whose mind start to gettin' jittery was then awakened by 04 who again stated that Peter should continuing his words. "Continue." Said Nilfour. "… Okay." Peter replied. "When Rick drove us there, he was still in the same state. When we got there, there was indeed odd mist in the cemetery that i saw. But, about the black tombstone. I. ummm." Peter glanced at the silent Gavin, listening to what he had to say. Despite the things that Gavin doesn't believe in, along with all of his conjecture and theory, he is someone who tends to listen, and argues in his thoughts until he is very sure of the series of words he composes and arranges in such a way, only to often pass the time the conversations of
… … … The Mourning Templars are Undead wearing worn and rusty drab armor, with remnants of dirt and mud. With lots of damage and cracks in its armor, one could also see the brownish flesh, rotting with full of holes and maggots squirming in and out freely as if it was a natural thing in the house they lived in. While the maggots also have many irregularities with their pale pink color. And if observed closely, the maggots were also larger than what's in general, along with sharp teeth adorning the part that could be guessed as the head. The Mourning Templar also didn't wear the iron helmet that was supposed to be part of its armor. All that was revealed was a decayed head, melted eyes and loose wrinkled skin with few hairs stuck by some slush. Teared rotten flesh on its cheek also revealed brownish yellow teeth and dried blood. The rest of the body was basically pasty and rotten like a corpse should be, but had a lot of flesh missing or in the verge of falling off, including an
... ... … Nilfour immediately took out another black commando knife from behind his waist, holding it in his right hand. But suddenly, something that had never been recorded in history as far as he had known happened before him. The demon who was originally supporting himself with his hands on the ground, suddenly lifted it up, then clapped. *Claps* *Claps* *Claps* ... ... Then spoke in a hoarse voice that sounded unpleasant to hear, "Nice. Nice. A very nice fight. You are indeed human as what been described. A really good choice for an entertainment." 04 is instead horrified. It gave him goosebumps all over his body. 'No way! Could it even possible learning human language. Before, the Demon only growled and roared with saliva flowing out of its mouth. What an abomination. Or maybe this is a different kind of Demons. If it is, then how strong would it be. Wait. If. If it may just recently learn about the language and doesn't understand much about human. Maybe I could try.
After searching for a full minute without result, arrive two person. One man and one woman came to Nilfour side, under the yellow lamp of the cemetery. From afar, it could be seen both used black clothes all over their whole body. Jacket with hood and a lot of small pocket, a black gloves and a black mask covering half of their face from chin to nose. Some of their body part attached with thin black steel like armor, covering their lower leg and some part of their hand. There is also few handle of knives visible around their chest and thigh. If looked closer, their eyes glowing red. There is also red blood insignia at their left chest. There is white silvery number in it. The female had six nine four as number, while the male had three nine two. It was Proof Badge of those Igniters who graduate from Private and believed to had sufficient capabilities as a combatant, to be entrusted and tasked as leader of Train Group, espionage, and including participate in as member of Night Watc
... ... ... "What you're doing??", the sound of an open door following by question, reverberated on the shady silent of the room. Gavin with expressionless face closed the book fast, while slowly turning around. There he saw Peter with kitchen gloves, who opened the door without even knocking. "Lunch's ready.", then after, he turn seems like all of his intention is only for telling him the food's done. Gavin stand up then hide his notebook deep inside of the compartment of his bed, that somehow had deep cavity in it. Then covered it back, so it seems there is nothing there. After arrived at dining room, he took the seat while looking at Peter that seems busying himself over a chicken thigh with his hands. Elegantly lift the wine glass, he took a sip. After that, he took the cutlery... ... Place it back and left with only spoon. He ate what was on his plate with spoon and hands on the table, fast without manners of a Noble. "How could someone as cold as you had a hobby joking w
