Chapter Eighty-Three

Henry walked into his room and placed his suitcase on the floor beside his bed. He sighed deeply as he sat on his bed and cracked his neck. He stared into space for a while.

Henry lay back in bed for a few seconds before going into the bathroom for a shower. He walked downstairs for dinner after his shower.

"Henry," Madame Gu called out when he joined her.

"Mom," he greeted her.

She smiled at him. Madame Gu had noticed a few changes in her son. They were positive changes, and she liked them. He no longer frowned whenever he saw her. He seemed happier these days. She couldn't ask him what the secret of his happiness was, because she already knew.

"How was work today?" Madame Gu inquired from my son.

He paused for a while and stared up at his mom. He didn't know how to narrate what happened to her. He didn't even know where to start from, and it was hard for him to decide if his mother needed to know about it or not.

"Something crazy happened in the office today," Henry told his mom
