Chapter Seventy

Linda walked out of her room and met her family, discussing and laughing happily. Mary was there, too. She was seated beside Catherine on a couch, while James was seated on the other couch that faced them.

Linda stood by the stairs watching them. There was something about the way they were laughing so excitedly. Mary seemed to be telling them about something that happened in their neighborhood, and they were all engrossed in it, and they didn't notice that someone else had joined them.

"The way he stood there staring at her as though his whole life depended on it with his mouth open widely. Then, the next minute, we saw him begging the woman who offended him and had come there to ask for his forgiveness."

Mary paused for a while and had a good laugh.

"I'm sorry for making you cheat on me, I'm sorry for making you hurt me..."
