Chapter Thirty-Two

Linda was sitting beside Richard as she watched Henry snub the young petite lady who was sitting beside him all through the party and trying to get his attention. For some reasons, she felt herself heave a deep sigh of relief when she noticed that Henry paid no attention to the girl. She probably still had a chance with him.

She wished she could walk up to him and actually apologize for all the embarrassment she had caused him in the past and equally beg him to take her back. But she knew it was almost impossible because Richard kept hovering around her and she absolutely hated it. She was in Richard's arms when she noticed Henry whispering to Asher, she believed that he was about to go back home.

He cast her one last glance after he exchanged a handshake with Asher before he walked out of the hall.

"Are you ready to go?" Richard asked her after every one who attended the party began to discard one after the other. He had a glass of wine in his hand.
