Norman slowly stood up, his legs trembling with pain and exhaustion. Mr. William looked at him for a moment, then continued, "Starting today, you are grounded. You are not allowed to leave the house and must follow all the rules. If I see you breaking them, the punishment will be even harsher."

"And one more thing, you will continue to kneel there today!"

Norman nodded, not daring to say anything more. He knew he had to change, to follow all the rules if he didn't want to face another punishment.

Mr. William turned and walked back into the house, leaving Norman with heavy thoughts.

Joseph watched Norman from a distance, his eyes filled with worry and guilt. Because of him, Norman had to endure this harsh treatment. He never expected Mr. William to take things this far.
