Abigail weakly swallowed the pill, her vision blurring. After a few minutes, Abigail's breathing gradually became more steady, and her face slowly regained its color. Mr. Henry sighed in relief, but the fear had not entirely dissipated.

"Are you feeling better, Abigail?"

Abigail nodded slightly, still weak. "Yes, I feel better. Thank you, Dad."

Mr. Henry hugged his daughter tightly, tears welling up. "I'm sorry, Abigail. I've made you endure so much. I really don't know what to do anymore."

Abigail gently placed her hand on her father's shoulder, her gaze tender yet resolute. "Dad, I just want you to be happy and healthy."

Mr. Henry remained silent, filled with emotions. He knew his daughter was right, but the fear and trauma from the past still weighed heavily on his mind. However, seeing Abigail's determined eyes warmed his heart.

"Abigail, I will think about this. I promise you."

Abigail smiled, though still tired. "I believe in you, Dad. We'll get through this together."
