Chapter 62:

Brian looked at Joseph, his voice almost pleading. “Joseph, stop talking.” He turned to Mr. William impatiently. “Sir William, please allow me to take Joseph away from here.”

Mr. William said nothing, just nodded coldly. Brian quickly pushed Joseph’s wheelchair out of the dining room, leaving the tense “battlefield”. Butler Canluvick was waiting outside with a medical kit in hand.

“Canluvick, thank you,” Brian said, taking the medical kit

“I’ll take Joseph to his room and take care of him.”

Canluvick nodded, worried. “Sir Brian, if you need any help, please call me.”

Brian thanked him again and pushed Joseph’s wheelchair back to his room. When he arrived, Brian opened the door and gently helped Joseph onto the bed. He opened the medical box and prepared tools to clean the wound.

Brian wiped the wine off Joseph’s face, complaining as he did so. “Joseph, why do you confront that old man?” He stopped and looked at Joseph. “You know his personality. It’s okay to hold back for a bit.”
