Chapter 92:

“Okay, then I'll go home first. If you need anything, just call me.” After Joseph finished speaking, he took out his glasses and put on his hat. As he pushed the door open, a voice suddenly rang out from behind.

Mr. Patrick called him back.

“Wait, I got something for you.”

“Got something for me?” Joseph's actions stopped, he turned back to look at Mr. Patrick with curious eyes.

Mr. Patrick said nothing. He stood up, holding the edge of the table, and slowly walked to the old wooden cabinet in the corner of the room. He opened the cupboard and took out a few cartons of milk, then turned around and gave them to Joseph. "I bought these boxes of milk to save for your arrival."

Joseph received the milk boxes from Mr. Patrick's hand, a strange feeling rushed back. It's been a long time since someone cared about him like that. But when he looked closely, Joseph realized that those boxes of milk had long expired.

"Mr. Patrick, these boxes of milk... have expired." Joseph hesitantly spoke up.
