I Really Didn't Expect It

I got up and walked towards the gate to see what was going on. From a distance, I saw the Shadow Totem Tribe really come back here. They looked in a hurry even though the sun was still shining brightly.

“Rex Hito!” called the woman who was cooking in the kitchen, breaking my thoughts.

"Here comes the meat. Eat it,” he said as he handed me a plate of large pieces of beast meat on my plate.

I'm getting used to the taste and smell and my stomach is starting to feel empty because of it. I decided to eat and ignore the warriors who came back from the hunt prematurely.

"Thank you," I said to him.

He just smiled and returned to the kitchen. Several women started preparing in the kitchen with him, it seemed they also noticed the arrival of the totem warriors who were on their way home.

"They came home early?" I asked while chewing on the beast meat.
