I Thought It Was Over, But It Wasn't

The flames spread fiercely, devouring everything within reach. Black smoke surrounded us like a cloak of death, making our breaths heavy and labored. My eyes darted around, looking for any security gaps that might remain. However, this room was getting narrower, the wall of fire seemed to close off all hope.

"There's someone out there! Help! Help!" My scream filled the burning room, creating a vibration of despair. I hoped, prayed silently that my friends were still out there, ready to save us. However, the only answer was the roar of the fire's ferocity.

"Help!" I shouted again in a hoarse voice and coughing.

Suddenly, as if the sky exploded, pieces of burning wood from the roof of the hut began to fall. My breath stopped for a moment as if time had stopped. But, in the midst of threatening death, a miracle happened. The Golden Tree within me emits a mesmerizing light, filling every muscle fiber with incredible warmth and power.
