I Will Not Give Up

Even so, the possibility of them being completely slaughtered by the Flaming tribe was still very high. I cannot allow bloodshed to occur on both sides. I can't bear their blood anymore!

"Give up, brat!" Khores shouted as he drew his spear right at my heart.

The movement was much faster than I expected and I had a hard time dodging it. Luckily, I managed to dodge even though it was a bit late. Khores's spearhead hit my arm because of it. Blood flowed and pain immediately attacked me instantly.

“It can be your heart next time, kid,” said Khores.

He laughed accompanied by the cheering voices of his supporters outside. I growled and quickly picked up my spear. With a swift strike, I thrust it towards Khores' head. I was fast enough in my own eyes, but apparently I wasn't fast enough to attack Khores. Khores can avoid it easily. I even staggered like a fool.

“You can surrender now,” he said, half laughing.

“In your dream!” I answered.
