Only Two People Trust Me

My body felt like it was shaking weakly from Nola's attack. I just hope there is still something from Nola that I love.

"Nola, please wake up! It’s me!" I exclaimed.

However, her face still did not change, her red eyes flashed with darkness. Merciless, she launched her next attack, not leaving the slightest opening. I know, I can't possibly communicate with her now. I don't know how she got into my dream, but now I have to wake up quickly because I don't want to die here.

A small light in the distance gave off a soft glow, becoming the only focal point in this gloomy dreamland. I was convinced it was the way out, the only way back to consciousness.

My steps felt heavy like I was carrying the entire burden of this dream world on my shoulders. I forced myself to move forward, each step bringing me a little closer to freedom. My breath was ragged, my heart was beating like a horse racing in the desert.
