Profound Light Power

I was silent in the darkness of the room, my eyes closed tightly. Controlling my breath, I focused on the bright spot that was starting to shine in the darkness of my head. The strength I had just discovered radiated from within me. The light was so strong, but its warmth enveloped me with tenderness.

Slowly, I began to feel myself being lifted from my bed. I am no longer bound by the physical limits of my body. It was a freedom I had never felt before. My body, now just a shadow, looked peaceful lying on the bed.

Determined, I decided to visit Rex's dream. He, my best friend who had been beside me from the start, had to know about the danger that threatened Nola. By diverting their attention, I hoped to give them a chance to prepare themselves.
