Unsuccessful

Rex sat beside me in a relaxed manner, it seems my body is now in a stable state. Carefully, he checks my heartbeat, his eyes focused on each beat. When he was sure that everything was going well, he gently wrapped my body in a warm blanket.

"You need to wake up now," whispered Rex in a serious tone, his eyes radiating deep concern. "They really need you, we can't get this done without you."

“Rex! Can you hear me? Rex!” I shouted.

I tried hard to signal that I heard him. Even though my words sounded so real inside my head, I knew they were only inside my mind. Frustration washed over me, but I knew I couldn't give up. I have to find a way to communicate with them.

"But how?" I thought, looking for a way to get my message across.

I felt tossed about on a wave of feelings of helplessness. Even though the frustration continues to haunt me, I can't stop trying. They were counting on me, and I had to find a way to live up to their expectations.
