We continue to march for days, weeks and then months.

Right now, they are in the mountain top and down below in the middle of the lake a great kingdom is standing.

Cole reminisced for a bit after a long trip.

(It’s a good thing that I have another 10 months before the story of book 3 begins, spending 1 month for this mission and getting a thousand slaves and a couple of artifacts looks worth it. Not to mention the unlimited access to several ruins and dungeons.)

Cole nodded while looking down at the kingdom.

He felt satisfied with the rewards that he will receive in this quest.

To be honest to himself, it's not that he wanted more slaves.

But the slaves will let Alicia become busy and she won't bother him for some time.

The artifact and access to the dungeons and ruins is a different matter.

He grabs and looks at the Yogen necklace hanging in his neck.

He tightens his grip and smiles widely while looking at it.

“This might have a lot of inconvenience to use but damn it's very useful.”
