I’m not sure if I should be angry at him for not telling me about this but I understand. Brother has always loved the mortal realms but how he could help was rather limited. Is it? I can’t fathom why he’d not come himself, as he’d done so countless times. I’d deal with that later.

“Tell me brother. What is going on? What are we dealing with?”

“We might be blind to the happenings of the mortal as of now but the only answer we could give is ‘them’. Though what ever could have released such a burst of power to reach even the heavens is unknown. With what I’ve known so far I can assume that’s the cause of such devastation.”

“How long has it been for something like this to have have happened?”

“It’s been over two hundred years in the mortal realm. Which is long, eight generations by their standards.”

I’m rather at a loss now. I guess with my agenda in mind—wait what is my reason for being here…

That was fun, getting to test my new body out! But those creatures having seen them here makes me wonder: Where did they come from? What’s going on?I don’t think I’d come to answer since I know next to nothing about what is going on.Although…… I look up, staring blankly. With the residue around, I somewhat have a vague comprehension of what might have happened. Can’t dwell on it much. Answers will unravel in due time, along the way. For now, onward. From a mortal’s perspective this is a huge world. No matter how much I scoured it feels like I haven’t gone far. And the constant snaky dunes and the ever so often evidence of what appears to be the old. I can’t tell if it should be a bore seeing how the scenes repeat. Or look at the beauty in its overall destructive displacements? At least there were the variety of monsters that came my way, whether on the sandy expanse or when they were mixed with rocks and the empty rubbles that were probably once inhabited. Just like in the day, i

The first time I died I was too young to know exactly what it felt. Only feeling like a dream that I was fleeting from my body. But the second time it happened, I felt the pain in bliss, and its versa. The moment I close my eyes succumbing to death’s calling, a momentary peace.Only to open them again in a jerk. It felt like only a moment had passed since they were closed.I peaked peaked through the gap in this confined space. Since it was dark out I could tell what I was supposed to be looking at. My body felt really uncomfortable, like I had been sleeping in an awkward position for a long time.I should have been cremated…Though a crime I had not committed I was pretty much to blame for it.… So why am I awake? It didn’t feel like the first time I died. Only that a second had passed after closing my eyes when I received the lethal dosage. I should have been sent straight there, afterwards.Shocker right? This young me who had just clocked 18 getting the death penalty. Well… you kn

The door, just like all the ones before, giving some real authentic horror vibe along with the silence of the darkness, creaked open. This place has a real horror thriller ambiance. Add a bit of background music or sounds, a ghost or monster and you got yourself a real horror story…What the f is this? The first thing that blew at me was an extreme heat, the heat stinging my eyes a little. And a dim light which seem to have filtered in from somewhere. But that’s not what caught my attention. The were whole and dismembered skeletons sparsed in the corridor and in a few cells. The bars of the cells—it’s not that there was any, other than the frames—were rusted and floor cover with a layer of sand.I could guess the clutter and rattling I heard and the soft and hard things I stepped and tripped upon were the tattered cloths and skeletons.I don’t think it took a day could have reached this. This looks like some post-apocalyptic shit. It’s not hard to guess

The sun was just about setting when my eyes started to clear and I gained control over my body. I still felt tired, in more ways than one… This lethargy doesn’t seem like it would go soon but at least I can move.Luckily nothing came after in the hours of ‘rest’—if you can call it that, my thinking process might have been slowed but it was active the whole time adding to the mental stress—as I was paralyzed. Otherwise, efforts wasted, I’d be done for, for real.… I’ll just head for one the dorm rooms and barricade myself in for some rest.I stood myself up… I looked down and saw the scythe still there.I’m a little conflicted. I was once told by Amara that there were only a select few who could touch the and like, let alone a mortal. My conclusion is that I was giving permission to do so. But I’m not a fool to shift the blame on me being tired before handling it and ended like that. This thing was the cause. True I may have passed out if I managed to somehow deal with the beast from ti

Luck on my side I could see since they were low ones in my sight. And the beast was preoccupied with him so I could easy get around and get close. With a

My luck’s been so great after waking up, first of all I didn’t die after finding myself in this new world and now meeting a familiar face immediately after coming into this placeI don’t see myself able to get close with this much crowd. It would be nice if I could meet her though. She should be able to tell me what happened. She really looks different, like she’s gone through so much. The crowd seem pretty excited. She must be famous among them being at the forefront. I hide behind one for the thatched huts. Don’t want to get spotted by her, she’d be panicked to find someone who should be dead, alive. Can’t have her thinking she’s been haunted by ghosts or something.I follow procession using the buildings and wall of crowd as cover. As guessed, they dismantled and distributed the meat to the people. It looked like this was just one of many groups as when the ones they had was finished another came onto the table. Again she stood on her feet distributing to the people. This should b

… It’s just as I thought. Ulterior motives, propaganda, conspiracies, a bid for control from the shadows. Use the one who had played an active role from the point after the ‘event’ as puppet, keeping watch of every move, isolating and cutting of her way out in gaining any substantial power to go against them. Ever since that time after my father’s death, I’d been on guard. And growing through life I had come to know people and what they are capable of. It only takes one event in your life to start theorizing and seeing the situations around you, seeing the truth of people behind their so called goodwill, smiles and the likes. Sometimes, hearing it, even from the source does make it seem like it’s being downplayed but the reality is a grim situation where you are trapped and the only way to go is doing as those people wish. Why not just ignore and take a step back away from all this and live for her own? She’s too kind for her own good to do that. She has this notion that; if not h

It should be Three in the morning if my internal clock isn’t rock. The witching hour. There’s no witching to be done in the post-apocalypse. Or is there? I’ve only had a couple of days out here and know absolutely nothing. “Ugh.” Even thinking is a problem, lugging the weight over my shoulder. It’s smaller than the ones I caught earlier but it’s real heavy. Each step was crushing. My destination: The witch looking old lady. Walking through the thatched huts and tents the place was eerily silent and lonely. But I didn’t feel the loneliness where you’d feel like someone or something would reach out from the darkness at anytime and grab you, rather there was some distant—vague feeling of people around. Come to think of it: what is the price of a life in this end times? And would this monster corpse be enough to pay of the price of saving the Trog’s life with the witch’s evil-looking potion? It took a while but I made it. A knock late I let the beast on my shoulder drop with a thud,

… Above watching the ongoing battle. The mage with the mercantile smile stood in his deep brown Sith robe. The ground was little with corpses and dismembered corpses. Blood stained sands that had soaked and drained the life of those that fell. The two sides, one side the majority of therianthropes and the other humans, clash letting loose their savagery on each other. It was a gruesome sight where swords clash, severing and disemboweling of the clashing races alike. An observer would question the necessity of the savagery. In a would were there was on the expanse of desert, who knew whether there would be another settlement other than that of the two sides. So why did they not cooperative to increase their chances of survival in this cruel new world? The answer is basic: Superiority of species. One with the stronger physique wanted to declare themselves master, and the other with smarts wanted for control. So

“Are you okay.” I look to where her voice came. Chika had somehow gotten herself out of the binding around her arm. When I glanced it seemed like it was cut. And in her hand was a very small knife, I’m sure she tucked it somewhere they wouldn’t find. She was checking on the two, cutting their bindings. I took a step to move closer. “Ugh…” I thought it would take a while to kick in. I finally got to relax seeing everything was fine, but immediately I did. I felt pain grip my entire body. My grip turned slippery from the blood that was slipping from the gunshot wound on my shoulder, and from the one that wasn’t mine. If that was all then I could deal with it, it would probably healed after a while. Aside from the nicks and cuts. I got careless back there. True, with this new found strength and reflexes you could do much, but when your are under fire it’s easy to be blindsided that was it. And that was what happ

“… I’m here to collect my friends. And I wouldn’t hesitate to cut anyone down anyone who stands in my way!” I say as I straightened my poster, walking. “Intruder at the entrance. Men down.” … “Don’t let him in. Do whatever it takes to put him down.” I could hear the distressed voices of the men in this place. They were scrambling to get here. And those that were already close by were let lose bullets. From long before I’ve known them to be rather conservative of their ammunition, after all, the amount would be so little. But it still rained. I weaved through the debris, walls, and any cover as they closed in with cover fire. Those that chose close combat with their machetes and knives were cut down by the scythe. I closed in one by one on their gunners taking them out and moving away before I got pinned. Why? Why? Why? Why do I feel like this? Despite the rage in me, hypocritical, it may be, why

What is his role in all this?”“The same for anyone in his position. A seat. Somewhere to belong, to hold authority.”“… I don’t get it. He’s already made his way into the top brass of that opposition faction, I assume, so why the need for more power.”Not just anyone could make it into the elites, in this case faction heads. He has to have something they need and is of the same mindset.“… Show me a person who has no greed and I will show you a world without without suffering…”Greed? In this situation do I seem to have that?… I guess. Despite having Amara, a unique to existence, I still wanted for Chika. Is that greed or lust. And then the fact, though not my own, I preferred her to be the one in control. Dose that also count.“… What do you think a desperate man would do, if you were in his situation?” He as

When the sun got over the horizon, I got out of Chika’s place. Using the Scythe as support I dragged my aching body towards the settlement. Damn it! My whole body hurts like hell. Despite it only being sunrise the settlement is bustling. The hunt must have already been gathered and people where already up to collect their ration for the day. Technically there should be enough to ration them for months if the meat is cured, but with the time it took to cure and the amount of people that came in occasionally the daily hunts were mostly shared daily until the ones in stores was cured. I’m somewhat a familiar figure around here. Draped in a cloak, much better from the very first tarp I used, though it was old. They knew of the relation I had with Chika and the fact I was one of those who hunted most people stayed cleared of me. Then there’s the rumor about the scythe. Something about the weapon being cursed and me being a dangerous and cruel character, That really hurt my feeling, you

[A/N: About half of this was part of the previous chapter/ Please go through the latter half] It began slow at first but soon she got passionate, like her body was reacting to something she had yearned for, for so long. I pulled her in closer.I didn’t have any top on so she could only wrap her arms around my neck leaving me to undo her buttons. Her lips never left mine as I worked to free her trapped bust. She was just right. I’m not one to like ‘em big or small, but in the middle, maybe a tad big than that average, just like how she was.I cupped a breast feeling it’s soft, sinking goodness in my hand. Breaking off I traced her neck, kissing all the way the cherry which sat perfectly on her mound taking it into my mouth, sucking on it.“Ah…” Her moans were soft, afraid to let it out. Her hand found my buckle as I undid her with a hand, slowly sinking into the mood.Gently lean her backward until her back touched the bed.On my knees I pulled off her pants and underwear, feasting on

[A/N: Believe the is longest i've written. Not edited so please bear with me.] In this few months I’ve active here. I got to see, well hear, about the fights that have been going on. With the exception of a few other races, their opponents were indeed the Theriantropes and a few other monster looking humanoids. Can’t really call them monsters if they can communicate, can we?. Here’s me, a guy who is avid about fantasy setting and the like and its inhabitants, seeing them do this breaks my heart. It goes as far to see the Demi-human, you know those animal/monster ears, tail and other parts, but looking no different, if not slightly, from humans being affect. Oh my dear Waifus.
