Warwick moved shifting his sword to the side. Having a longer reach, a few steps away with both hand he swung for a horizontal slash. Seeing the fast sword approaching his neck he evaded by lowering himself backwards allowing the sword to pass overhead.

“Woah”

With the momentum he dropped to a back handspring. Feet touching the ground he moved without hesitation and swinging his falcatas.

Warwick parried while avoiding the blade that came at his side by shifting his body.

And so their exchange continued.

“I got to say. I truly admired the friendship of your squad. As loft as it was. To be honest I’m jealous. You guys isolated me. That makes me curious. When did you guys start to suspect me. I thought everything I did was flawless. It did fool the guild for so long.”

With the size of his sword one would think its weight would be a problem. But he moved it like it was any other lightweight. Parrying, blocking and the occasional evasion.

I open my eyes. The dull blue of the sky is staring back at me. In the corner of my sight the usual rubble of the old times. What happened? I remember entering into the ruin which was in the distance when suddenly I heard a ringing and everything went dark. Not been able to feel pain will turn out to be a disadvantage when being attack, especially one such as this. Wait… I don’t hear it. I sit up. I look to my side… swiveling to the other. Where is she? And the youngling beast. “Oh you’re awake…” A full turn to where the voice came from. I don’t know what race he is—obviously because I never cared to know—four arms, head that looks almost reptilian though slightly rounded, with two pairs of eyes donned in leather armor, his slightly thick arms bare. Two sheathed swords were crossed behind his back. I wonder what the other pair of arms would hold, if he has only two swords. “… Where is the kid?” “You must have arrived with a companion. Unfortunately, if they aren’t here you

So as predicted. The feeling faded a little while after making it into the town. The place is quiet like a ghost town, curfew for the game, he mentioned. The low building and one storey others were scattered about, tarps extending out on a few of them. A few stalls here and there. I got the general location of the place… So here we are. This place is unassuming as a whole. We took three hours or so to get to the town. The four armed guy is standing by my side, I did drag him about two-third the journey. “That was not nice… Any longer felt like I wouldn’t have had a rump to sit on again…” And he complained the way here. I believe this should be the time I feel annoyed but when you have no emotions nothing seems to matter. “Yea… So this is the place?” Why is he acting as if he didn’t know this place. He hadn’t even bothered to know where exactly I was leading us too. The countenance he had made it seem like he knew about where we will end up. “…?” The place, though looking a little

Back towards the doorway where I had left Dehl, I hear bootsteps coming closer. He steps out as I reach the now door-less room covered in blood, cuts over his person. Blood dripping on the floor from his lower left arm, held by the lower right. He was able to fight those magic users. “Already got the kid? It’s a real mess in there. Didn’t think that calm old man got it in him. Thought I was going to lose a couple of arms.” He looks down at her in my arms. “Nasty scare she got there.” A straightforward person. “Cute kid, though. She yours?” “…” “… You got what you came for so what now?” e brush of the awkwardness of my silence. “Find her a healer.” “Yeah, she doesn’t look too good?” I didn’t stop and continued on. Pass by the corpses or walking over them. “… There are people done there. You should find people to get them out.” “Sure. Thanks… Where are you going to stay. No inn’s going to let you in this late.” That’s true. But I already got that figured out. “… Up.” Yes. I de

I never thought to see one, at least not until hearing about the lock on my memories. At least one of them might have true ability, right? If she could really look into it, see past the lock, If I could see what happened back then, who made me like this finding them might be a little easier. And the child? When the figure moved to face me there was a distinct creaking with every movement. What stood before me was a disfigured old woman dressed in a one piece which seemed to be falling apart. Her hair was falling out and instead of hands she’s got… long blades. Her knees were more forward with a thick skin linking the joint making her knees like so, and another deformity leaving her with only two large toes for each leg. Yet, she was my height, maybe a bit taller. I look at the old woman before me. It was a slightly different sensation I felt from when meeting the shadow of Kein. She had no breath of life on her. No heartbeat. Smell. Odd. She doesn’t smell like a corpse either. But she does have a scent… Is she the Baba Jaga? “Who are… you?” Her croaky voice—I could see quite a few teeth missing—snapped at me, and with a creak a step forward pointing an arm at me. “I should be the one asking. You brought me here.” “Answer the question? Who are you and why are you here?” How troubles

I walked over to the bed. I took out my knife and cut through the ropes that bound the monster. Then turn to Iya… “You have held on for so long. i will take you to a cure now” The words just came out. Lifting her off the bed I walk to the door, the monster tailing. I grab the nob, “Tatala se ala i le isi itu, Baba Jaga.” I don’t know if I got the pronunciations right, but I think that should be it. I open and walk through. On the other side of the door was the room I was in not too long ago. And in the center of the dilapidated and dull lit place sat a small round table. It looked fancy with its covering and small ceramic kettle. The one seated behind it was Baba Jaga, a cup in her hand placing it to her lips and the coaster in the other. “Lay her.” Where? There is nothing here. Except the now present table. Something appeared in the corner of my eye. Look and see a bed… Without questioning I walk over and place her on the bed. Upright I stand to the side waiting for the woman

I didn’t plan on staying in Erndt any longer. The main reason I came here has been accomplished and as I didn’t feel the hands of a demon on this place there is no reason to stay. And if they did they would have hidden themselves pretty well, so why bother with the unseen. The idea was to head to the next location, a bigger one. There were bound to be demons in a bigger location. Even if it’s a lesser devil it will lead to one of a higher rank in that place. So I set sights to Avd’elisi. Learning from Lreen, from the previous settlement, the fastest way to get there is through here. And that’s the role of the vessels when he said that. I plan on heading to the dock and getting a ride on board. It would be fast and reduce the risk of having to run into monster every now and then. That’s why for whatever reason the old man wants to speak about, I don’t care for. “I’m not interested…” I walk heading for the stair. Currently it should be getting dark and since I have no idea when the bo

  • Transcendence. Torments of Nate Deon    Chapter 4 ON TO THE NEXT DESTINATION - PART 1

Didn’t think I’d ever see this scene. A demon caring for a human. Yes she really is a demon and looks no different from a human. But it’s not that she is masking herself. She is either restraining herself not wanting to make this her domain or she is just that weak. I haven’t seen a weak demon like her if that should be the case. When I heard her sobbing voice I followed and found this warehouse. Opened the door and saw the woman holding the injured human in her arms. Her scent came to me. She is a pure blood demon but her scent was faint. I guess that is why I didn’t think there was any demon around… I heard all she said. And it came as a surprise. A human giving his life for a demon. And she for him. Going by her first question she might not not know who I am, forgetting about the fear she may be feeling now stemming her cognitive—another question came out, though I do understand what it meant. I stop a few feet away. “Do you know me…?” Her smile fades. Though confused she star

Blood stained sands that had soaked and drained the life of those that fell. It was a gruesome sight where swords clash, severing and disemboweling of the clashing races alike. An observer would question the necessity of the savagery. In a would were there was on the expanse of desert, who knew whether there would be another settlement other than that of the two sides. “Are you okay.” I look to where her voice came. Chika had somehow gotten herself out of the binding around her arm. When I glanced it seemed like it was cut. And in her hand was a very small knife, I’m sure she tucked it somewhere they wouldn’t find. She was checking on the two, cutting their bindings. I took a step to move closer. “Ugh…” I thought it would take a while to kick in. I finally got to relax seeing everything was fine, but immediately I did. I felt pain grip my entire body. My grip turned slippery from the blood that was slipping from the gunshot wound on my shoulder, and from the one that wasn’t mine. If that was all then I could deal with it, it would probably healed after a while. Aside from the nicks and cuts. I got careless back there. True, with this new found strength and reflexes you could do much, but when your are under fire it’s easy to be blindsided that was it. And that was what happ

“… I’m here to collect my friends. And I wouldn’t hesitate to cut anyone down anyone who stands in my way!” I say as I straightened my poster, walking. “Intruder at the entrance. Men down.” … “Don’t let him in. Do whatever it takes to put him down.” I could hear the distressed voices of the men in this place. They were scrambling to get here. And those that were already close by were let lose bullets. From long before I’ve known them to be rather conservative of their ammunition, after all, the amount would be so little. But it still rained. I weaved through the debris, walls, and any cover as they closed in with cover fire. Those that chose close combat with their machetes and knives were cut down by the scythe. I closed in one by one on their gunners taking them out and moving away before I got pinned. Why? Why? Why? Why do I feel like this? Despite the rage in me, hypocritical, it may be, why

What is his role in all this?”“The same for anyone in his position. A seat. Somewhere to belong, to hold authority.”“… I don’t get it. He’s already made his way into the top brass of that opposition faction, I assume, so why the need for more power.”Not just anyone could make it into the elites, in this case faction heads. He has to have something they need and is of the same mindset.“… Show me a person who has no greed and I will show you a world without without suffering…”Greed? In this situation do I seem to have that?… I guess. Despite having Amara, a unique to existence, I still wanted for Chika. Is that greed or lust. And then the fact, though not my own, I preferred her to be the one in control. Dose that also count.“… What do you think a desperate man would do, if you were in his situation?” He as

    Chapter 2 REVENANT'S PAST - PART 12

When the sun got over the horizon, I got out of Chika’s place. Using the Scythe as support I dragged my aching body towards the settlement. Damn it! My whole body hurts like hell. Despite it only being sunrise the settlement is bustling. The hunt must have already been gathered and people where already up to collect their ration for the day. Technically there should be enough to ration them for months if the meat is cured, but with the time it took to cure and the amount of people that came in occasionally the daily hunts were mostly shared daily until the ones in stores was cured. I’m somewhat a familiar figure around here. Draped in a cloak, much better from the very first tarp I used, though it was old. They knew of the relation I had with Chika and the fact I was one of those who hunted most people stayed cleared of me. Then there’s the rumor about the scythe. Something about the weapon being cursed and me being a dangerous and cruel character, That really hurt my feeling, you

[A/N: About half of this was part of the previous chapter/ Please go through the latter half] It began slow at first but soon she got passionate, like her body was reacting to something she had yearned for, for so long. I pulled her in closer.I didn’t have any top on so she could only wrap her arms around my neck leaving me to undo her buttons. Her lips never left mine as I worked to free her trapped bust. She was just right. I’m not one to like ‘em big or small, but in the middle, maybe a tad big than that average, just like how she was.I cupped a breast feeling it’s soft, sinking goodness in my hand. Breaking off I traced her neck, kissing all the way the cherry which sat perfectly on her mound taking it into my mouth, sucking on it.“Ah…” Her moans were soft, afraid to let it out. Her hand found my buckle as I undid her with a hand, slowly sinking into the mood.Gently lean her backward until her back touched the bed.On my knees I pulled off her pants and underwear, feasting on

With the exception of a few other races, their opponents were indeed the Theriantropes and a few other monster looking humanoids. Can’t really call them monsters if they can communicate, can we?. Here’s me, a guy who is avid about fantasy setting and the like and its inhabitants, seeing them do this breaks my heart. It goes as far to see the Demi-human, you know those animal/monster ears, tail and other parts, but looking no different, if not slightly, from humans being affect. Oh my dear Waifus. Motor control has slowed down to a dull, I can’t even keep my position leaning to the wooden hut,The same time as the door opened I had swayed to the side falling in towards the old lady. Luckily though, for some reason the scythe is still tight in my grip.“Woah, I didn’t think you’d want this old lady that bad that you’d throw yourself upon me.” She must have gotten a closer look at me, “You don’t look so good.
