Lucas expected many things when he made his way to the commander's tent, but what he didn't expect was for the princess of the Kingdom to also be present in the tent which caused him to be surprised.

He saw that the princess herself is in armor as a sword is hanging from the left side of her hip like his own sword. She is wearing quite an extravagant armor which was mainly silver in colour. She was wearing pants or something similar as she also wore armor which was similar to him.

Her armor was primarily silver with red highlights, it covers her breasts, shoulders, knees, forearms and back. She looked like a warrior princess in that armor and it seems that she has decided to forgo her Tiara as her hair fell free on her back. Lucas also noticed that the amount of people in the tent were also great which wasn't that surprising since this is the commander's tent.

The tent has much space and there was a table in the middle which has the map of the two kingdoms. The commander which he thinks is Andvaranaut is standing with a serious face. Olivia herself was standing at the side of the table as she looked at the map seriously. The other knights were standing around in their armors vigilant.

Olivia and many of the knights turned to look at Lucas when he said her name in surprise. Olivia's eyes widened in recognition as she looked at him before a small smile graced her lips. Lucas was surprised when he saw the small smile on the princess's face.

"Ah, welcome Lucas Larsen, it's quite nice to meet you in person." Olivia said with a smile.

"Ah yes, it's an honor to meet you as well princess." Lucas said to her.

The knight commander looked Lucas over as a soft smile appeared on his face.

'It seems Gustav's student has come a long way.' Andvaranaut thought with a smile.

"I was told that I was needed to come to this tent for the briefing?" Lucas said to them.

"Yes, and now that you're here we can go through the plan." Andvaranaut said turning serious.

Lucas nodded to the man along with Olivia as they turned their attention to the map as the commander went through the plan. Basically, since they were the vanguard of the army they were expected to face the brunt of the enemy forces while the other camps would attack the enemy flanks and make sure that they don't catch the army off guard.

Andvaranaut explained the plan to the people present as they soaked it in. Lucas was taking in every part of the plan so that he will be able to formulate plans if things go south. After the briefing the commander told the high ranking knights to go through the plan and tell him if there needs to be any modifications to it before he dismissed them.

After that the many knights inside the tent left which only left the commander, Lucas, Olivia and a handful of Knights and the ones guarding the entrance. Olivia looked at Lucas to know why he is standing there while the man himself was looking at Andvaranaut.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Lord Andvaranaut. I'm Master Gustav's student." Lucas introduced himself.

At this introduction Olivia widened her eyes while Andvaranaut smiled.

"It's nice to meet you lord Lucas. I'm quite happy that Gustav has managed to find a good student. Incidentally, I also have a great student of my own." Andvaranaut said to him with a smile which caused Olivia to look at him.

"Oh, then I'm sure that they are quite powerful." Lucas said to him.

Olivia smiled a bit at his comment while Andvaranaut smirked.

"That she is. Incidentally she is standing in this tent right now." Andvaranaut said with a smirk.

This caused Lucas's eyes to widen as he pieced it together as he looked at Olivia with wide eyes. The princess meanwhile enjoyed the expression on his face as she has an amused look.

"Well, I guess that explains why the princess is here." Lucas said after a pause.

"Yes, of course. My lady, if you would." Andvaranaut said before gesturing to Olivia.

Olivia just nodded to him and then turned to face Lucas as she did a small bow.

"Greetings Lucas Larsen of the Larsen Clan. It is nice to meet a student of the renowned swordsman Gustav." Olivia said to him with a smile.

"Thank you, and it is nice you my lady. I am quite fortunate to meet a student of lord Andvaranaut." Lucas said as he gave a short bow as well.

Olivia had seen his introduction as she smiled a bit.

'He doesn't have a trace of arrogance in his tone unlike the rest of the noble kids of my age I had the misfortune to see. He really is different from most.' Olivia thought to herself.

"But I must ask princess, how did you get the permission to come here?" Lucas asked her.

"What do you mean?" Olivia asked as her eyes narrowed at his question.

Andvaranaut went a bit stiff when he heard that. Lucas himself had also noticed the tone but decided to completely say what he is thinking. Olivia's mood also became a bit worse at his question as she was starting to see him in a good light.

"What I mean is that you are the princess of our kingdom and as such are of high importance. If something were to happen to you or if you were to get captured then it will affect our army drastically. So strategically speaking, shouldn't you be in the inner part of the army?" Lucas said to her.

Olivia stared at him as he said his thoughts as she didn't break eye contact. The knights around the inside of the tent were getting nervous while Andvaranaut was looking between the two seriously.

The tense atmosphere stayed for some time before the princess sighed. Lucas looked at her curiously as she looked him right in the eye.

"You're right. I am the princess and strategically I shouldn't be at the forefront of the army. But I am also a member of the royal family of Ascheberg and as such it is my duty to protect it at its time of need. I won't just stand by as my country goes to war!" Olivia said seriously and announced the last one.

Lucas watched her as she said her mind as he knew she is serious about it. Due to an opening up in the tent the sunlight shone down on the princess as it made her seem more beautiful. Her silver hair and her skin seemed to glow under the light while her red eyes made it more beautiful. The knights seemed to be in a trance from it while Andvaranaut was nodding to her.

Olivia looked at Lucas as said man was looking right back at her as the other occupants looked at him as he didn't have a noticeable reaction. Olivia was getting a bit concerned at his lack of reaction to her speech and half expected him to laugh at her words.

In the past many noble boys had laughed at her words and treated it like a joke, saying that a princess shouldn't be at the battlefield and it is the place of men. It also didn't help that the females were also thinking the same. This caused her to have no friends and the only ones who came close to her were those children from the families that wanted to marry her for the power.

But her worries were washed away when a smile graced Lucas's face.

"I am satisfied with that answer. Not many noble women can say the same as you princess." Lucas said with a smile.

"Oh, were you seeing if I was capable?" Olivia asked him.

"I just wanted to know how much conviction you have and I am not disappointed. I hope that we can work together your highness." Lucas said to her as he raised his hand for a handshake.

Olivia looked at his hand and looked back at him. She then smiled as she grabbed his hand.

"And I hope that you will serve this country well and bring glory to it. Let's fight together, Lucas Larsen." Olivia said seriously.

"As you wish, your majesty." Lucas said with a smile.

"So do you understand what you have to do?" Lucas asked as he looked at an armored knight standing in front of him.It was easy to know that the knight is female due to her armor, and another fact that can be easily noted was that she is shorter than him. She was fully covered in her armor so seeing her face and body isn't an option."Yes." The knight said whose voice belonged to Aslaug."Good, I want to keep your existence a secret. Who knows what the other people will do when they learn that a demigoddess is amongst them." Lucas said to her."Is that why you made me wear this armor?" Aslaug asked him in an annoyed tone."Precisely, the people can't see your face under the armor and more so because you're a young woman. And you know how women are treated in the army don't you?" Lucas asked her."Tch! Yes, I am well aware of how women are seen as not fit for battle." Aslaug said with distaste."Look, I know you don't like it but this is the way you have to fight. She was also quite fast as she was also a bit more in front of the army with her teacher Andvaranaut trailing behind. It was only after a few minutes did the princess return to the room as she smiled at him. "Please follow me, my father and mother wish to speak with you." Lucas sat on the back of Falkor as he made his way to the royal castle, it would've taken more time but he knew the importance of this so he made his wyvern fly quickly. Most of the people had already seen his wyvern and since there weren't any others in sight, they wouldn't attack him. But he didn't want to raise the alarm so he made sure that they were flying near the ground to make the guards know that he is coming. And as he had hoped they didn't attack him, as most of the guards had recognised his wyvern as even if not all of the guards had come to fight in the war, there were still those who recognised him and his ride. They reached the gates and Falkor landed carefully as he scratched his neck as the wyvern growled in response, happy at the scratching he received. "I am Lucas Larsen of the Larsen family and I wish to speak with the princess, it's important. I didn't have the time to send a letter prior." "So, why are you here?" Aslaug asked him as she was curious. "A spell that I had used to warn me about danger activated and I don't know what the danger is." Lucas said to them as he looked at the two women. "Wait, what kind of spell is that?" Kriemhild asked in surprise at hearing that. "That is a spell that I had discovered in the past, but for it to be activated means that it is going to be very dangerous. Not to mention, the chance of me dying is also high." Lucas said causing the two to look at him in surprise. "Truly?" Kriemhild asked in surprise, an emotion which was also mirrored by Aslaug. Eske frowned as he sat on his throne as the last defeat of their kingdom against their enemy country of Norway. He had thought that they would have been able to beat the kingdom with the dragons that they have with them, and considering the fact that he has his own court mage, he was fairly certain that they would have been able to defeat the army. But the sudden arrival of that boy and his help in the war changed the tides causing them to lose the war and the two dragons. He was obviously displeased with what had happened as he had just lost to their enemies which will be a blow to the pride of his family. But he is also a bit relieved as they have managed to come to an agreement which isn't too exploitive. The fact that the contract was good enough to allow for them to maintain their rule was a good thing, even if they have to give the other kingdom money monthly and also have to give up the rights of the crystal cave as well. There was also the fact that it took a lot of thei

Lucas looked at the Alpha who is standing in front of him seriously as the man is looking at him a bit nervously while being looked at by Lucas very seriously. Lucas is the de facto leader of the boys and when he isn't leading them and giving them jobs then it's his duty to make sure that they work correctly. "So you got nothing unusual to report?" Lucas asked him seriously as he sat in his chair. "No sir. We did a check just as you had told us to, but we haven't found anything unusual happening inside the country. Even in the other noble families or around the royal palace." Alpha said to him seriously with a nod. Lucas narrowed his eyes at that as he reclined on the chair he is sitting on as he closed his eyes and thought about it. "Now that's a good boy." Lucas said as he was petting Falkor. He is currently flying with the wyvern as he wanted to make sure that he had the ability to fly freely without anyone being afraid of it attacking. Even if he is his wyvern, the people will naturally be scared about a creature of its size. But he didn't mind it that much as he enjoyed flying with Falkor, as it was a way for him to be alone from his otherwise noble life. It is good, he will admit and having people around him and treating him with respect is a good thing, but sometimes he just wants to be left alone to enjoy some time alone. He looked at the kingdom from above and it was a bit cloudy so the people probably hadn't noticed them. Not to mention the fact that people don't usually look up so it would work in his favour. He has also been having his boys keep a watch around the kingdom for any kind of suspicious movement. Considering how the prince has acted, he doesn't want to let down his guard in case the

Eric threw the glass of alcohol across the room as it shattered after hitting the wall as the four maids who were serving him flinched from the violent action as they looked at him with slight fear. But the prince himself didn't care about their reactions as he had a pissed off expression as he glared at the wall. "My reputation has been tarnished and that damned boy is hailed as a hero!" Eric shouted in anger as the maids flinched again from his loud voice. After the end of the war, Eric's reputation in the kingdom had plummeted, no surprise that it has happened of course, as it was him who had decided to start the war with the other country. And their country has lost the war and was humiliated and lost two dragons under their control. And have also been shown to be inferior to their enemy, which has hurt the sentiments of many of the country as well. The other noble families of the kingdom were also of the same mind as they didn't like the fact that they had been defeated,
