Lucas had tended to Falkor and had given him the necessary instructions and made sure that the wyvern knew not to do anything or attack anyone in the territory. He gave the servants the instructions needed to make sure that they didn't irritate him before he walked to his mansion. He was greeted by a maid when he entered where she told him about where his mom and the girls were as he gave her his thanks.

He reached the room and knocked at the door as he got the permission to enter as he did and found his mother sitting on a couch with the two girls sitting on one opposite to her. He proceeded to sit on the right couch to his mother's right as he looked at the three with him.

"Did you guys already talk by the time I came here?" Lucas asked them curiously.

"Oh nothing much. I was just asking them a few basic questions." Agnes said to him with a smile on her face.

"I see. Well, they are trustworthy and have fought alongside me in the war. I trust them." Lucas said as he looked at them.

"Well if you say so then I will do that as well." Agnes said to him with a smile.

'Does she have two faces or something?' Aslaug thought to herself as she looked at the woman.

"Well, do you want anything to drink?" Agnes asked her son with a smile.

"I already told a maid about it while coming here so you don't have to worry about it." Lucas said to her dismissively.

"That's good then. So, where are these two girls going to live?" Agnes asked him as she looked at the two.

"Aslaug already has a residence and was living there. As for Kriemhild, I will arrange one place for her." Lucas said surprising the latter.

"I... Thank you. I really appreciate it." Kriemhild thanked him as she was surprised.

"You don't have to worry about that. You are my direct subordinate and I will make sure that your new home is comfortable." Lucas said with a smile.

Kriemhild nodded to him at his words while Agnes smiled while watching the interaction as she felt pride at seeing how her son is working.

'My son is really talented and kind. I'm so proud.' Agnee thought to herself with a smile.

After that their drinks came as they spent an hour talking as Lucas told his mother about the happenings at the battlefield and the girls also told her about what he had done and how amazing he looked.

Suffice to say that Agnes was really proud of him for being able to do all of that. She couldn't wait for her husband to come back and for her to tell him about what their son had done in the war. She knew that he was a part of it but she never thought that he would have played such a huge role in defeating their enemies.

After they talked Aslaug and Kriemhild left the mansion and went to their own residence with Kriemhild going to stay in an inn. Lucas watched them leave as he rubbed Falkor's snout as the wyvern growled fondly at the feeling. Lucas smiled at the reaction of the reptile as he watched them leave.

After that nothing too eventful happened as he took a bath and took it easy. He then had dinner with his mother as his father would only arrive the next day. Then he went to his room to sleep, but he didn't and sat on the bed awake before he looked towards the window.

"Beta." Lucas said as his servant appeared at his window.

"Good to see you again my lord. I have heard about your accomplishments at the war." Beta said to him respectfully.

"It was fine. How are things on your end?" Lucas asked him seriously.

"It went well. Some of the people who are your enemies are dead as we made sure to assassinate them and the war taking place at the same time will further camouflage our involvement in them. The evidence needed to arrest those families have also been delivered to the needed parties anonymously." Beta said to him seriously.

"Good to hear. Make sure that your involvement isn't found out and lay low for the time being." Lucas said to him seriously.

"As you say my lord." Beta said as he bowed to him.

"How are the others at the orphanage?" Lucas asked him curiously.

"They are doing fine. The rest still don't know about our involvement with you and are none the wiser. It is thanks to you that they have been able to lead such happy and carefree lives until now." Beta said to him with a grateful look on his face.

"I'm glad to hear that. Keep on taking care of them like you do but also make sure to teach them things to protect themselves should the need come. Just make sure that they do not realise anything about your alter egos." Lucas said to him with a smile.

"As you say my lord. I shall be on my way then." Beta said to him as he gave him a respectful bow.

Lucas nodded back to him before the guy jumped away and disappeared into the night as Lucas watched before he went and closed the window. After which he laid on the bed and looked at the ceiling before he closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Meanwhile at the royal castle the captain of the royal guards was giving his report to the king after he had learned about the assassination of some of the powerful members of their country and the information that he got.

Arvid was quite livid when he learned about their deaths happening in his kingdom and it increased when he got the information about those people in addition to some of the other houses as well.

"And you didn't know about it until now?" Arvid asked the captain with a raised eyebrow.

"We had some information but we didn't have concrete ones. We were only able to learn about them due to their deaths which allowed us to actually look at the houses and uncover the evidence." The Captain said to him respectfully.

"Is that so?" Arvid said with a thoughtful look when he heard that.

'Someone or an organisation is in our nation who killed them or an enemy from outside the country. I can't dismiss both of these options, I will have to be vigilant, and not let the win in the war distract me to the happenings of my own territory.' Arvid thought to himself as he then looked at the captain.

"Increase the surveillance and make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for anything that might happen. The one who committed the assassinations is quite skilled so you must always be vigilant. Give the message to the guards as well." Arvid said to the man seriously.

"Understood my king." The Captain said with a bow.

"Good. You are dismissed." Arvid said to him seriously.

"As you say. Also my king, congratulations on your victory." The Captain said as he gave him a respectful bow before he left the kings private room.

Arvid watched the man go out as he let out a sigh and rubbed his forehead at the new information he had gotten.

'By Odin's Raven, can I not even let my guard down for celebrations?' Arvid thought to himself as he sighed.

"By the way, what was the magic you had used?" Olivia asked him curiously as she remembered that fact."I'd rather not talk about it when there are so many people here." Lucas said to her in a hushed tone as he looked at her."Ah right, that." Olivia said as she nodded in understanding. She knew that despite his status many of the nobles might covet his power and not to mention the fact that if that information went to some unsavory hands then it might be problematic for one Lucas Larsen, something which the kingdom doesn't need to have.Even if others have seen his magic work, they don't know the principles in which the magic works, and that makes him a wildcard of sorts. Which also makes him dangerous in the eyes of their enemies and she is sure that he would be at the top priority for them. Considering his strength they would be wary of him the most which can be used to their advantage.'Okay, I need to stop thinking about strategy for a moment and just enjoy the party.' Olivia th

Lucas was finished writing the spells and how to use them on the paper that he was given as the court mage was watching him write the spells on it as he also tried to memorize the spells that he saw being written. After half an hour, Lucas was done writing the necessary amount of spells and rules as he looked at them. He nodded to himself in his mind before he gave them to the court mage who took them and read through them as his eyes widened at them. "Incredible. So these are the spells for the Space Magic. To think I would be able to gaze at such valuable knowledge." The Court mage said with wide eyes as he looked at the papers and then at Lucas. "I am glad to see that my knowledge is of use to the kingdom." Lucas said to him with a small smile on his face. "I have to thank you as well, Lord Lucas. If it were not for you, then I wouldn't have been able to know about such a spell. A shame that you weren't able to learn everything from your Master." The court mage said to him wi

"By the way, did the court mage say anything else before he left this room?" Olivia asked him curiously as she wondered what the mage had said to him. "He said that he wished to teach me in the art of magic, so that I will have more versatility in the future." Lucas said to her as he remembered the words of the man. "Hmm, I suppose that is what he would want. I have been hearing about the court mage thinking about finding his successors since he is growing older and soon he will have to find someone to take his place to serve the kingdom." Olivia said as she looked at him as he looked at her in turn. "I suppose. Having an option available would be beneficial for him. Lucas sat on the back of Falkor as he made his way to the royal castle, it would've taken more time but he knew the importance of this so he made his wyvern fly quickly. Most of the people had already seen his wyvern and since there weren't any others in sight, they wouldn't attack him. But he didn't want to raise the alarm so he made sure that they were flying near the ground to make the guards know that he is coming. And as he had hoped they didn't attack him, as most of the guards had recognised his wyvern as even if not all of the guards had come to fight in the war, there were still those who recognised him and his ride. They reached the gates and Falkor landed carefully as he scratched his neck as the wyvern growled in response, happy at the scratching he received. "I am Lucas Larsen of the Larsen family and I wish to speak with the princess, it's important. I didn't have the time to send a letter prior." Lucas said to the guards stationed at the front of the gates seriou

For the time being, he hasn't seen any unusual activity from the other kingdom which put his mind at ease for the moment as it meant that the danger that his master has thought of hasn't happened yet. He trusts his master and knows that if he has said that a danger is coming, then it will be coming. But for the master to not know what the danger is means that the problem is something that might be hazardous to them all. He is sure that they are very powerful, but he also doesn't want to be too arrogant about it as he knows that it might lead to his death. It was one of the first things that was taught by their master to them when he was teaching them about fighting. Thinking that th

Lucas sat in Aslaug's home as he was being watched by Aslaug and Kriemhild as they looked at each other, not knowing what to make of the situation in front of them as he had a troubled look on his face. "So, why are you here?" Aslaug asked him as she was curious. "A spell that I had used to warn me about danger activated and I don't know what the danger is." Lucas said to them as he looked at the two women. "Wait, what kind of spell is that?" Kriemhild asked in surprise at hearing that. "That is a spell that I had discovered in the past, but for it to be activated means that it is going to be very dangerous. Not to mention, the chance of me dying is also high." Lucas said causing the two to look at him in surprise. "Truly?" Kriemhild asked in surprise, an emotion which was also mirrored by Aslaug. "Yes, this particular spell I used will warn me about great dangers and when I am going to be in a situation where I could lose my life." Lucas said to them as he reclined on his

Eske frowned as he sat on his throne as the last defeat of their kingdom against their enemy country of Norway. He had thought that they would have been able to beat the kingdom with the dragons that they have with them, and considering the fact that he has his own court mage, he was fairly certain that they would have been able to defeat the army. But the sudden arrival of that boy and his help in the war changed the tides causing them to lose the war and the two dragons. He was obviously displeased with what had happened as he had just lost to their enemies which will be a blow to the pride of his family. But he is also a bit relieved as they have managed to come to an agreement which isn't too exploitive. The fact that the contract was good enough to allow for them to maintain their rule was a good thing, even if they have to give the other kingdom money monthly and also have to give up the rights of the crystal cave as well. There was also the fact that it took a lot of thei

Lucas looked at the Alpha who is standing in front of him seriously as the man is looking at him a bit nervously while being looked at by Lucas very seriously. Lucas is the de facto leader of the boys and when he isn't leading them and giving them jobs then it's his duty to make sure that they work correctly. "So you got nothing unusual to report?" Lucas asked him seriously as he sat in his chair. "No sir. We did a check just as you had told us to, but we haven't found anything unusual happening inside the country. Even in the other noble families or around the royal palace." Alpha said to him seriously with a nod. Lucas narrowed his eyes at that as he reclined on the chair he is sitting on as he closed his eyes and thought about it. "My Lord, is this truly the right course of action." A soldier asked Eric as the group of soldiers were walking through a cave tunnel. "Yes. This is the way to get back the respect that I had lost because of our enemies." Eric said to him with a glare at the soldiers. The soldier's flinched at his glare as they knew that they couldn't and shouldn't do anything that might anger him. "Now that's a good boy." Lucas said as he was petting Falkor. He is currently flying with the wyvern as he wanted to make sure that he had the ability to fly freely without anyone being afraid of it attacking. Even if he is his wyvern, the people will naturally be scared about a creature of its size. But he didn't mind it that much as he enjoyed flying with Falkor, as it was a way for him to be alone from his otherwise noble life. It is good, he will admit and having people around him and treating him with respect is a good thing, but sometimes he just wants to be left alone to enjoy some time alone. He looked at the kingdom from above and it was a bit cloudy so the people probably hadn't noticed them. Not to mention the fact that people don't usually look up so it would work in his favour. He has also been having his boys keep a watch around the kingdom for any kind of suspicious movement. Considering how the prince has acted, he doesn't want to let down his guard in case the

Eric threw the glass of alcohol across the room as it shattered after hitting the wall as the four maids who were serving him flinched from the violent action as they looked at him with slight fear. But the prince himself didn't care about their reactions as he had a pissed off expression as he glared at the wall. "My reputation has been tarnished and that damned boy is hailed as a hero!" Eric shouted in anger as the maids flinched again from his loud voice. After the end of the war, Eric's reputation in the kingdom had plummeted, no surprise that it has happened of course, as it was him who had decided to start the war with the other country. And their country has lost the war and was humiliated and lost two dragons under their control. And have also been shown to be inferior to their enemy, which has hurt the sentiments of many of the country as well. The other noble families of the kingdom were also of the same mind as they didn't like the fact that they had been defeated,
