Gregg switched his gaze from Risa then to Draed, a cold sweat running down his forehead. He didn't know what to make of this sudden turn of events; he could only guess that Aiden must be referring to his family ties to the organization. Gregg knew that Aiden was aware of this fact.

"Yes, my father has been working as an adviser to the council. So he is familiar with their members, and they are acquainted with him as well. But it's been such a long time since we broke ties with them, so we don't keep a close relationship with the Unseen Assembly, though."

Aiden nodded and let out a sigh of relief before putting his ax away. "That's a good thing. You see, the reason why I'm asking is because of the recent attacks by the rogue dragon known as Black Scales. Mr. Smith sent me here on his orders to investigate whether or not the attacks were related to the Council of Six that make up the Unseen Assembly."
