Building a World (Part 2)

After hours of tapping and holding, Shawn finally finished the world's landscape.

A large continent in the north, and two other continents, one in the south and one in the east while the west had a few islands.

When he was finished he clicked on the confirm button, he was then shown a virtual view of the world he had made before the next part of the tutorial appeared.

[For your next task, that is to make life abundant in the world.

Choose the animals, beasts that you'll place in the world and decide their location]

He felt like he was going to have a headache. After all, the earth had tons of different animals. But as soon as the options appeared they were much less than he thought although still a lot.

There were reptiles, apes, aves, pisces, micro organisms, mammals and so on. There was even a tab called mythological beasts.

"It seems the 'strange' programmers of this game found a stressful way to put almost every single creature on earth into the game. Alright then"

After placing the animals and beasts he then clicked on the confirm button.

The system gave another notification.

[Choose the biomes, climate and terrain of the regions in the world]

As he looked at the northern continent's northern land, he tapped on it and a maker appeared in front of him.

*Use the marker to draw the land area with the parameters listed above*

He drew the region that he had chosen. As it is the north eastern part of the northern land which was the biggest area. As he clicked the confirm button.

A screen appeared in front of him showing the parameters and asking for the description under each of them.

He clicked on it to begin his description of the land (There were also options but I'm not going deep into that).

He chose to give it a high temperature and the biome a desert biome, it had little rainfall and cloud cover and was always filled with sand storms. The terrain was also flat with a few rough areas and highlands.

He then drew the southern part of the northern continent and chose the biome to be a forest biome, the climate was with high temperature but also high rainfall and a flat terrain.

Not forgetting the eastern part of the continent which he made rivers to flow from. He gave it a moderate temperature (for the human body) and high rainfall. It also had a flat terrain and was a transition from grasslands to forests that stretched from the north to the south.

He turned to the southern continent and drew off the eastern half of the continent while leaving the western half. This was because he had made large mountain ranges that spanned from the ocean of one end of the continent to another and separated it into two.

He confirmed the terrain after extending the marker's range and chose the eastern half to have a low temperature with a tundra biome. The terrain was also rough and flat in some areas. The climate was characterized with low rainfall but the presence of snow and a cloudy atmosphere.

The western half of the southern continent was made to have a massive jungle and some grasslands, the terrain was rough and the climate was with higher rainfall than the south of the northern continent along with a moderate temperature.

He continued on the other continents and when he was done he clicked the confirm button.

[You have come to the end of the tutorial. Congratulations on making your first world]

"Wait what. That's all?" Shawn expressed his shock.

[Yes]

"But how could that be all? And what do you mean by first world?"

[Those who skipped the tutorial are not asked to make their worlds but to choose the landscape of their world.

The biomes are not asked to be made by them but generated along with the world. The creator can still change the biome if they wish to. Also when the world has been chosen a set of animals are placed in it. The creator of the world can only add more animals if he wishes to]

[Also you are not yet privileged to create a second world which will be a new one]

"What are the options for landscape and when can I be given access to create a second world?"

A bunch of screens appeared showing names and their descriptions. They were:

1. Super continent - This is a world with a single huge landmass but surrounded with nothing but water.

2. Continents - This is a world with multiple landmasses but smaller than that of a continent.

3. Water world - For creators that want to make a world solely made with creatures and races on water.

4. Island - Also water world but having a bit of land above the water surface.

5. Infernal world - World with insanely high temperature. Not ideal for races with homeothermic bodies.

6. Frozen land - World with insanely low temperature. Not ideal for races with homeothermic bodies.

7 Random World - World with any amount of landmasses and generated biomes in it.

[Host can be given access to a second world once hosts rise to rank 4. Currently host's rank is rank one]

"What do I need to do to raise my rank?"

[Completion of tasks given by the system and taking actions that earns you merits]

"Ohhhkkk"

[Processing results…]

"For???"

[Congratulations host. You have received 2500 creator points(CP). For completing the tutorial and creating a very good world]

"What are Creator points and what are they used for??" Shawn asked.

[Creator points are used for purchasing locked items that are for your rank or for using your creator powers to affect the world and the events that will occur.]

"Oh, ok thanks"

At that moment, a bell appeared in front of him with subscript number one on it.

Shawn tapped on it and it read [Your first task has arrived]

He tapped it again to gain more info. [You have made your first world. The biomes are slowly appearing. But this has hindered the appearance of animals. Speed up the process]

Under the info it read 'Complete now'

Shawn touched it and immediately he received a notification.

[Ding. Nature is taking its course but since you want to hasten it then it will cost you 700 CP. Do you want to proceed?]

"Yes"

He soon heard the sound of money being withdrawn which meant that 700 CP had been taken from him and blinding light flashed over the world as trees, bushes, grasses and plants began to appear. After 90 years the various biomes had taken root in the world.

[Ding! You have completed your first task. and have been rewarded 900CP]

"That was unexpected," Shawn thought.

Then another notification rang in his ear. "The world is currently nameless. Give it a name"

"I'll call this world" he paused, trying to think before he spoke again"Ornio"

[Ding] You have been rewarded 50 CP for completing the task. Note that all tasks will be sent to you via notification and ringing ear sounds]

"Ok"

As Shawn was admiring the beautiful work of his. The biomes had taken place and animals had begun appearing into the world.

Another notification made its way into his ear.

[Ding! The world is admirable. The various animals and the calm of nature exists within this world. But something is still missing. There are no beings intelligent enough to make their own presence. This is your task. Create the first race and place them into the world]

[For creating the first race. You can pick from the available races. But there will be little to no reward if you do that. If you make a new one the reward will be higher]

"Can I see the available race before I can decide if I want to create a new one," Shawn said.

[Yes you can]

A tab appeared in front of Shawn showing the races available. When he saw the contents he exclaimed "Really!"

Some races were for free and some were locked. He asked the system "How many can I buy with my current rank? ".

[You can buy the races Elves and Kobolds and others. Some will be unlocked whenever you have gotten or finished certain tasks or actions e.g Dwarves and Orcs]

"How much do they cost?" he asked.

[The elves cost 1200 CP and the Kobolds cost 900 CP and so on and so forth as the system began to list their prices. Some races such as Dragons required 20,000CP]

"Really. You guys wanna rip me off!"

[Then don't buy it. It's not compulsory if you can't afford it]

"Ohh I almost forgot. You're a sassy system"

[Duhhhhhhhh]

After thinking for a while

"I want to make a new race"

The tab closed and another one appeared in front of him with a text [Draw the race and describe them]

They had light brown eyes and an average height of 1.75 for males and 1.65 for females. They also had pointed ears that were flat. Meet the Goldorn race. When Shawn was done he began to describe them. "The Goldorns value honor and command respect among themselves. They are mainly users of mana energy. They have the traits of proud, strong and a determined mindset. But they can also be conservative and very protective of their people. Along with them Shawn bought the elves and humans and was about to place them into the world when... Not wanting to waste anymore time, the wolf raised its paw and slashed at the snake thereby ending its life. Even while killing the snake the eyes were still shut. Shawn who had watched this had made three conclusion's. One was that the wolf had somehow evolved into having silvery gray fur. Two was that it was good at attacking and its sound wave howl showed that it was a mana and physical energy user which was rare in the world. Three was that it could still fight and sense the enemy with its eyes closed only showed that it was a very sensitive wolf. It seems like this wolf has been learning some jujitsu from somewhere. But the next thing that made him shocked was when the wolf went to the river and was
