Hospitable Trap

Urkezi gazed at the land of the oasis, the home of her tribe that was beneath her, and smiled as her figure turned into a shadowy haze. Around the oasis, a large number of female orcs stood beside plants, taking water from the source and wetting the ground around them then they took out small round yellow seeds the size of a speck from their animal bags then threw them across the field.

A female orc with leaves wrapped around her waist and chest contrary to the rest in animal hides made the other orcs part for her. As soon as she came close to the wet ground, she then reached for the leather bag strapped to her waist and took some ash from it which she then threw on the ground before clapping her hands allowing more of the black powder to fall while she sang.

After singing alone at first, the other females joined her to clap and sing. "Water from the oasis,

Grow our crops,

Ash from the dead trees,

Bring forth new growth,

For our families to use."
