After eating that treasure, Leit could then choose one trait of the devoured treasure, be it the stats, skills, hidden skills, critical hits or even its achievements and titles but he could only choose just one.
Also, depending on the treasure, it would take longer for the devoured treasure to be digested depending on its rank. Whatever attribute chosen by Leit could be applied to the whole body or just a part of it so if Leit for example, chose Sword Damage and applied it to his hand, his hand could be used as a sword to stab or slice his enemies or maybe he chose the defence stat and applied it to his chest, his chest would have high defence stats as compared to the rest of his body.
‘Broken! Completely broken!’ said Leit inwardly.
His talent had also improved his vision so that he could identify treasures and also his sense of smell. When a treasure was nearby but hidden, Leit could smell it, like now. Treasures could also be consumed as food to replenish energy, overall, Leit's talent was very overpowered.
Leit was just fantasizing about the things he could do once he escaped from this hell hole when he suddenly took a whiff of something delicious. Leit then stood up and followed the aroma all the way to the toilet, where Tom spent most of his time. Inside the bathroom, there didn't seem to be anything special or out of place but the smell came from behind the wall and it was of many flavours.
Leit didn't have tools to break the walls but he did have his mouth that could chew through anything so he started by licking the wall and the tiles were slightly corroded by his saliva. He licked for an hour before taking a short break then continued to lick.
After hours of licking for hours, a hole big enough for him to sink his teeth into had opened up and Leit did just that. If he could bite through the tile, the process would have been faster.

It took Leit two days to chew a big enough hole on the wall for him to enter and once inside, Leit saw all kinds of treasures from F-Rank all the way to D-Rank protected by transparent glass. There were many treasures in this place that Leit was a bit overwhelmed.
All treasures were ranked from F-Rank to SSS-Rank and the former was the lowest ranked treasure and the latter was the highest ranked treasure. Broken swords, shields, jewellery, old books and all kinds of other treasures were placed in here. Alphabets floated above the treasures that only Leit could see with his special vision and approached the only two D-Rank Treasures.
One was an iron shield with a rhino logo on it and the other treasure looked like a frozen heart. Leit chose the frozen heart as his first choice then bit the glass and it easily broke.

Alarms went off as the room lit up in a red light to indicate that someone had snuck into this place. Leit didn't care if Tom was alerted or not and just devoured the frozen heart. Then he went for the shield, the rings, the swords, the books and everything inside this place. Once he swept the place clean, Leit returned to his couch, sat down and closed his eyes.

Somewhere far away, wherever Tom was at, his glass phone suddenly vibrated inside his pocket and when he took it out, he saw a video of Leit inside his treasure room, eating his collection of treasures that he obtained after years of hard work.
“What are you doing?! What the fuck are you doing?! And how did you even enter my treasure room?! You ungrateful bastard, I treated you so well all these years and this is how you repay me! By eating my treasures! I'm gonna fucking kill you! I'm going to kill you!” shouted Tom with a completely different appearance of a rat wearing desert clothes and a scarf that covered his nose from the dust in the air. As for how his appearance had changed, that was Tom's greatest secret, one that only he knew.

Hours later, Leit opened his eyes with a satisfied smile on his face. Although he was still skinny, his body exuded great strength and he felt powerful and brimmed with energy. He'd just devoured Tom's accumulation of many years of effort so how could he not grow stronger.

From the digested treasures, he'd only chosen the stats and added them to his own. Many times, he'd been tempted to choose skills and abilities that the treasures had but he prioritised his strength first. He only discovered the storage ring after he ate it and chose its only skill which was storage space. The Octo-Carnivorous Fishman Transformation was obtained from the frozen heart.
It was a hidden skill that sounded very cool so Leit chose it without hesitation. He didn't know how strong he was but he surmised that he could deal with Tom easily. Now that he was strong enough, Leit decided that it was time he left this place before Tom returned. Although he was not afraid of Tom, he was wary of the people behind him and so, he walked in large strides towards the door and opened it.
