Chapter 51- The Helper

The Williams family couldn't conceal their dissatisfaction with Jeremy's response. As Jeremy and Avery left, Mr. Williams expressed his thoughts, "I knew he wouldn't agree to give us such an amount. He's always been a greedy man."

Mrs. Williams was quick to reassure her husband, "We'll find a way to get our share from him. I'll make sure of it."

She was well aware of Avery's soft-hearted nature and how easily she could be manipulated by the sight of her grandparents' distress. Mrs. Williams planned to exploit this vulnerability to her advantage, confident that Jeremy's devotion to Avery would ultimately lead him to give in to their demands.

As the Williams family stood outside the mansion, a taxi pulled up, and to their surprise, Mrs. Peters emerged from the vehicle, visibly distraught and tearful. Curiosity mingled with concern as they watched her approach.
